The house is well appointed with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen/dining and a cozy lounge with wood heater. The perfect place to stay for couples, families or a group of friends. We hope you love it as much as us and can relax and enjoy all that this amazing region has to offer.

Rejuvenate

Well equipped with everything we needed for a group of 5. We didn't need heating or cooling but we noticed that there were excellent heating and cooling options. Two teenage boys enjoyed the process of lighting a fire in the backyard firepit.Easy walk into township on a level pathway. Will definitely book again if the iccasion arises.

Great for family stays

Great location

Lovely accommodation in a relaxing and quiet area. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. The cocktoos and kookaburra's welcomed us every morning on the veranda. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family getaway

Our family loved staying at Melanie’s house. We had everything we need to relax, nice walk into Halls Gap and enjoyed the board games.

Perfect for families

This property was stunning both inside and out! Inside there was plenty of room for the whole family. The laundry was great having a dryer, kids loved the big tv and Wii games on it. Top it all of with the lovely and warm wood fire in the lounge room. Outside we fed the cockatoos each morning when they stopped by to say hello - such great memories made here! Highly recommend

The property was well situated and within a leisurely 30min stroll from the center of Halls Gap. Well situated in quite surroundings where one can wind down. Melanie communicated well and within reasonable time.

A bit out of town and needed info on heating system

The accommodation was more or less what we had expected. The king room though was a bit tight with only 1 bedside table so we plumped for the room next to it, which also had the TV. The only real issue was how cold it was, but a quick message to Melanie the next day and we got the heating working, but we were certainly cold the first night we were there. As we are from the UK we were unfamiliar with the heating system. The accommodation doesn’t really warm up and so need to put the heating and blankets on.

Location was great, had check a few things with owner that could have been included in paperwork som

House was tidy and spacious, plenty if room and good location. Cleaniness could be improved. The cutlery drawers were disgusting greasy, not was properly if at all. Plates also dirty, we had to wash everything we wanted to use.

Nice place, quiet location

This place had everything we needed except a dishwasher, last thing i want to do on holidays is wash dishes! Aside from that this residence has netflix and a massive tv, fireplace and cooling/heating. Beds we comfy and had good nights sleep after long walks in the local area. Thanks for a great stay!

Very Satisfying

A very enjoyable few days spent in a very nice place with beautiful surroundings. The place was everything as described with all facilities available. The only concern was that the place is desperately in need of a deep clean. Also the smoke alarms in the hallway adjacent to the bedrooms have been disconnected. Otherwise enjoyed the stay.!
