Chrissie was an amazing host, she went above and beyond! The place was beautiful and in a perfect location - just a quick walk away from some amazing cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a great stay. We were working and found the place a perfect base. Chrissie was very helpful every time I had a question. Dinner was so easy with all the takeaway places a quick walk away. Great to have secure parking as well. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful but impractical

Lots of lovely decor, but not very practical. The host was very accommodating though. The beds and linens were lovely, but uncomfortable, as was the large sofa. It would have been nice to have a mirror in the master bedroom, and a wastebasket in the bathroom/sink area, laundry room. Difficult to do meals as the sink was in the bathroom and there wasn't much counter space. Good fridge, but couldn't properly open freezer door because of gas heater pipe. This property works well for a quick overnight stay, adults only. Not recommended for children.

Relaxing space for short term stay

Chrissie's guest suite is super comfortable and nice and quiet, in a residential inner suburb of Auckland. There are a selection of cafés nearby and good transport connections to more lively areas, but this is more of a calming location than a vibrant one. The furnishings are of a high standard and it's great having the large sofa to relax on. One thing to note that caught us out is that although there is a Kitchen section in the listing, there were no cooking facilities in the unit. Everything else (fridge, kettle, toaster, dishes etc) is provided so if you're OK with eating out or getting delivery then you'll be all set. Chrissie was great to deal with and was very respectful of our privacy. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking to experience a different part of Auckland.

Michael was a great guest, very quiet and respectful of the space. He left the space very clean and tidy and I would welcome him back when he is next in Auckland.

I have given a lot of thought and attention to detail in the hope that guests will find a special place to stay close to the heart of our beautiful city.

Its close to very good cafe's, restaurants. Walking distance to parks, beaches, boardwalks and Aucklands amazing waterfront. Its also on the bus route to Central Auckland and many of our city's outer suburbs.
