FISHERS OF MEN offers the extra comfort you deserve when vacationing at the beach with a large family. From hardwood floors in the living area to rocking chairs on the ocean front porch you'll make yourself at home in no time. There's a private pool with a cascading waterfall into a crowd pleasing kiddie pool. Pool dimensions are approximately 27 x 12. For 'off season' enjoyment this pool is heated 3/1-5/30 and 9/1-11/1 if the air temperature is not below 55F and there is a private hot tub. 2nd floor sundeck with a view of the entire Grand Strand. Enclosed outside shower. Walkway to beach. WIFI. No smoking allowed. Fishers of Men is a small dog friendly property.

It was really great the way the place was laid out Big bedrooms and pool was so fun with all the little ones Only thing was the weather didn’t cooperate for the week we were there But made the best of it anyway😀

Easter with Extended Family

The location, a quiet family area, was the best aspect of this vacation. A bonus was the second refrigerator - which we had to have repaired. The small round "kids" pool flows into the larger pool, a great idea - we had to have the pool crew clean the pool our second day. The hot tub is under the house - we had it serviced 3 times and when the second set of jets stopped working "Doctor Hot Tub" came and marked thru the button for those jets so it is basically a soaking tub on one side. This house is dated, lacked what I consider basic things like salt and pepper, all the knives need sharpening, and even one hair dryer would have been good. Laundry worked well, and while I didn't iron, an ironing board cover is absent. But, pots and pans were better than most rentals, there are two large picnic tables under the house for cooling shade later in the summer, and the house was large enough that teens didn't have to share bedrooms or baths. Dunes Realty was very responsive to our needs and I thank them.

Fantastic Location

Perfect house for a relaxing week. Had entire family together including 4 adult kids, grandkids and my mom. Layout of the place was perfect for a large family gathering with each bedroom having a private bath. Extra fridge in the kitchen was a huge benefit. Large open gathering space with bedrooms on the perimeter was perfect layout

Fun Family Time

Great vacation and overalllocation. The only thing I would have liked was to be notified when pool people or a maintenance person was coming. This happened three times during our week.

Beware the pool

We had a family of 17 staying here. It got a little crowded on rainy days but we managed OK. The only real compliant we had was the bottom of the pool and even more so the kiddie pool was really rough and sliced up our feet and legs. There was also a mix up with the no linens provided thing mentioned in the listing, so we ended up with double linens that the rental company would not take back. Anyway fun house for a big family, right on the beach, everyone gets their own bathroom which was brilliant and the beds were pretty comfortable.

Family Beach Gathering

Reminded me of family gathering beach houses when I was a girl. Lots of space for gathering, and plenty of bedrooms to privacy. The master on the second floor has an amazing view of the ocean, and God blessed us with warm weather over New Year's week, so we slept each evening with the door open to hear the waves. We enjoyed the hot tub, and even sitting by the pool in the sun. The location on the beach is perfect, and there is an amazing seafood restaurant in walking distance. People were so friendly, despite being short staffed and busy at every establishment. What a great little town. The only downside was that the kitchen had a dishwasher that did not work, and one of the large elements on the stove did not work. We were doing lots of cooking, and it made it interesting. Lots of big pots and plenty of dishes for a large group, but lacking on a few normal things, like a vegetable peeler or wooden spoons. The two refrigerators were a nice touch.
