High Tide - Beachfront Home in "Arrogantly Shabby" Pawleys Island, SC

This Five-bedroom, Five-bathroom beach front house is located at the Broken Groin on the South End of Pawleys Island. The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your culinary needs. You can fit up to 6 cars in the driveway and under the house (depending on what kind of car you drive). The south end boat ramp is just around the corner as well. The living room includes a mounted flat screen TV over the fireplace and it also has a sleeper sofa. 4 of the bedrooms and 4 of the bathrooms are on the second floor and the 5th bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor. We supply high speed internet and two smart TVs in the house. This is a perfect beach house to get away and relax.

The shower in the right back second floor bathroom needs some work and the exhaust fan doesn’t work. However we really enjoyed the space, view, and we had all we needed. We also had some quick assistance from a VRBO young man on operating the TV. Overall-very nice and might be worth another stay.

Great Beachfront House for Friends or Family Vacation

This property was fantastic! Great location with beach access, decks, screened in porches, and close to golfing. Definitely recommend and will hopefully get to rent again in the future.

We had a wonderful week at High Tide! We stayed with four couples, and the house was a perfect fit for us all, plenty of space, comfortable gathering areas, and fantastic beach access. The home was well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to beach towels and chairs, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The beach and the views were spectacular!The only downside was the downstairs bedroom mattress, which wasn’t very comfortable, but moving upstairs to the fourth bedroom solved the issue. Overall, it was a great house and we’d definitely recommend it for a fun, relaxing beach getaway with friends!
The full moon over the water was gorgeous!

The house was just as described. The sleeping and living spaces suited our needs perfectly. Each family had a bathroom with their bedroom. There was plenty of space to spread out downstairs, and for the children to play. The sunrises over the ocean each morning were glorious, and at night we all enjoyed viewing the stars in the crystal clear skies. On warm days we were able to spread out on the screened-in porch.We did experience a couple of problems, Several of us had to check in for work, and the internet was glitchy. When it went out for the second morning in a row, the management team scheduled the internet technician to come. Also, the upstairs thermostat did not work, leaving it hot on the warm days, and cold on the cold days. The management team offered to have an electrician to come, but we declined thinking the change in the weather would take care of it. Before renting it in the future, you may want to be sure that has been addressed. The management team was very responsive, always returning calls promptly.We enjoyed our Pawleys Thanksgiving and appreciated having this comfortable, well-situated house in which to make memories!

High Tide is a beautiful and functional beach house. I loved the 3 sided wrap around porch and the access to the beach. It was beautiful!

Fabulous stay

High Tide is a great house- relaxed and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked, hammocks were a favorite. Super location mid island.

Wonderful beach vacation!

This house was exactly as anticipated. Very clean and perfect for a vacation with family. Great options for a variety of sleeping arrangements. Very well stocked kitchen. Property manager quickly responded to all communication prior to and during. (Only needed to contact once during our stay just to be sure he was aware of some minor damage so we weren’t held responsible.) I highly recommend!

Location is the key!

We loved our stay and the location was excellent.The pictures show the house well. The sunrises were amazing and has the best beach with such easy accessibility. We loved the screened in porches. The outdoor shower above and below really helped with sand. There is a missing cushion in the upstairs porch. There is no hot tub or pull out sofa although listed. the listings post a hot tub and a pull out sofa in the living room, there isn’t one.
