Perfect in every way!

This place is squeaky clean and very well suited to vacationing. It's private and quiet. Guests can walk to the beach (it couldn't be closer) or to fun shops and restaurants. The parking is secure. Upon arrival, we got an excellent tour by the owner who has clearly given a lot of consideration to making his rental a home away from home. Highly recommended property.

Delightful place

This little place just a few hundred feet from Venice beach is in the heart of the action at Venice Beach. Very close to Washington Pier, easy access to Santa Monica and to LAX. It is a great location and a very nice little place. It is kept in immaculate condition and is super clean. Kevin and Sydney are friendly and accommodating. I would rate this place a 5 out of 5.

The most perfect hideaway!

This amazing oasis, just steps from Venice Beach, could not have been a more perfect choice for my recent trip to California. The property itself was beautifully appointed, comfortable, stylish, super clean - a true jewel. It was peaceful, safe, and also close enough to the "action" of the area that I could walk a short distance to great restaurants and shops. I can't wait to return - Sydney and Kevin are the consummate hosts, and have created a very sacred space here.

Nice location, close to the sea.

Thank you for a great stay at your beach house. Is is a fully equipped beach house, regular standard, good wifii. It has a nice garden area and play stuff for the kids. The owner was kind and welcoming, and happy the help with lots of local advice. We had a very nice and undisturbed stay. Only downside was that the nabo let her dog do his thing in our garden. Same place where the kids and we should play and relax on the lawn..

Fantastic Time!

We stayed at Venice Beach Sunny Garden Paradise for a long weekend, 3 ladies. The pictures and description of the apartment were exact so I won't repeat. What a great location, just around the corner from the beach and the beach walking path to many activities and restaurants. Everything in the apartment was nice and clean. We used the beach towels and chairs. So happy we booked this instead of staying in a hotel where there is really no personal or outside space to just relax and hang out. It was also cheaper! The owner was really nice. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

love the close proximity to the beach!

proximity to beach is great. the only downside is that this area in general has noisy traffic especially at night. helicopters overhead at night can wake you up at night. Overall, it is worth the noise. that is just part of being in Venice.

I loved my stay here, cozy and quaint, half a block from the beach with VERY convenient parking spot. Host is very nice, welcoming and has a wealth of information. Very comfortable stay with all the creature comforts necessary, host thought of everything, even ziploc bags and spices for cooking. Definitely recommend!

Place is adorable...looks even better in person!

Very nice, quaint beach bungalow! 2 adults and two teenage boys stayed for 4 nights...close quarters, but worked just fine. Bedroom is very small, but bed is extremely comfortable and linens are very nice. Pull out sofas were perfect for the boys. The amenities were above and beyond any rental we have had before...coffee, teas, chocolates (not on my holiday diet plan, but were a tasty sweet surprise), condiments, vinegars, linens, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and on and on!! Kevin could not have been nicer, even though we were later than anticipated in arriving. He took his time to thoroughly show us around the property and give us tips on the neighborhood/ community. My favorite thing...the covered patio... perfectly decorated and cozy at night!! The boys enjoyed the lush, perfectly manicured lawn! My husband appreciated the private, gated off street parking that is included in the rental. Kevin and Sydney have a "no shoes in the house" policy... Completely get it and I love it, however I don't like going barefoot on the floors either. Suggest bringing some cozy slippers along, or some fuzzy socks. Staying here was wonderful and we will definitely be back and share info about this little beach garden bungalow gem with our friends. It is obvious Kevin and Sydney don't want to rent just a vacation house to VRBO customers, they realize they are renting a vacation "home" and a whole experience....big difference!! Thanks again Kevin and Sydney! PS - The entire Venice Beach area is challenging to get in and out of, be patient and give yourself plenty if time if leaving the area. Maybe explore different routes rather than the standard GPS directions, as they are overwhelming busy at times. Even better...just enjoy the Venice Beach community and don't worry about fighting traffic!!

Really enjoyed our stay, place was just as described. Just a few hundred feet from the beach, the location couldn't have been better. The owners we're very nice and made us feel very welcomed. Overall a great stay.

COZY HIBERNATION!

What a gem and such a great place to just stay. We had so many plans for the week, but often just found ourselves enjoying being in this little hideaway or not straying very far. (Everything is so close anyway!) The gardens are great. There's a great private patio. This was a working vacation in many ways as we had to bring work with us and this place was super. Wish we could have stayed longer. Kevin took great care of us and we hope he'll have us back! Thanks, Kevin!

Wonderful Venice Beach Family Vacation!

We loved our experience at this beautiful hidden gem. The access to the beach and restaurants was amazing and we enjoyed evenings in the large garden with our family. It's a peaceful oasis in the heart of Venice. Sydney and Kevin were lovely and the house offered everthing we could have hoped for.

A perfect place to chill

Lovingly cared for, this is a quiet oasis in the hubub of Venice. It is well appointed with comfortable bed and clean, it is stocked with quality appointments. We hesitate to let the word out because we intend to return and don't want to have it all booked up!

Highly recommended!

Great apartment! We spent two weeks celebrating my wifes birthday. Two adults, a kid and a teenager. Very nice patio. Parking is also a huge plus. Garden is wonderful and surprisingly large. Location is ideal, just 30 meters from the boardwalk. Kevin is a very friendly and attentive host. Best vacation ever according to my wife, and this apartment was a big part of that. If I try to come up with something "negative": The only thing we missed was a bicycle or two. Would have made it perfect. Plenty of beach stuff though, bogey boards, chairs, basketalls etc In summary: highly recommended! We will definitely rent again when we come back to Venice.

Great place to stay and very comfortable. Steps to the ocean and the Venice walk, Beautiful Sunsets and close to everything. There are restaurants within an easy walk, and an abundance of interesting folks cruising about. Very safe parking and the unit is one of three available, ours was the lower mid size unit. We can't say enough about the fun we had here. A wonderful place to spend some time. Thank You Kevin for all your information and help, but we didn't get to meet Sydney...What a wonderful place to stay and Thanks again...

outstanding location. walked to beach, restaurants, and never had to move the car.

pictures are decieving. small place. bed double super comfy, but futon was hard as a rock. other than that the hosts are wonderful, parking secure.

Wonderful place to stay and wonderful hosts

This apartment was a perfect place for our family to stay. We loved being so close to the beach and Abbott-Kinney. It was nice to have the outdoor space for the kids to kick a ball around and for grilling. Sydney and Kevin are great people and so helpful. We'll be back!

Loved It

My wife and I spent a week here and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Just a short walk to the "entertainment" of Venice Beach (Muscle Beach, funky shops, bike and other toy rentals, etc. and of course the colorful Venice Beach vendors and street entertainers), but far enough so that the nights were peaceful for sleeping. You could hear the Ocean only 1 block away. Our Jack Russell LOVED the yard, and taking morning walks by the Venice Canals only 2 blocks away. We loved relaxing in the outdoor cabana. Add the secure parking for 2 cars...who could ask for more!

Absolutely Fabulous

I stayed at the apartment for 5 days last month with my husband and two teenage boys. There was ample room for us all with plenty of cupboard space in the living area. I cannot say enough about how lovely the apartment is. Everything you need is provided, from warm cozy blankets to a well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect. Turn right for the very lively Venice beach vendors or left for much quieter restaurants and bars. There are many small stores within walking distance and the excellent Ralph's supermarket is a short drive. The garden is beautiful with lovely flowers and plants. Sitting in the cabana room as the sun went down was heaven. I would certainly return again. Sydney and Kevin were on hand and very helpful without being obtrusive. Thank you so much.

We're a couple of east coast transplants who love the year-round outdoor fun southern California has to offer. The beach house is a very special space, professionally maintained, relaxing and private, well equipped with everything you'll need to feel at home while traveling. Whenever possible we meet and greet our guests at check-in to show them the property and give them the rundown of yoga studios, grocery stores, festivals, concerts and various other things going on around the neighborhood. May all beings be happy and at peace.
