Firefly Cottage Enjoy Views of Glen Lake

NOW WITH CENTRAL AIR! Firefly Cottage, located between Glen Arbor and Empire, is sure to provide you with a peaceful location to enjoy your family vacation. Guests of the home can enjoy a serene private setting. The home is a ranch style home with all living on the same floor - perfect for guests with little ones or elderly family members. This three bedroom, two bathroom home has a fully stocked kitchen and a living room complete with a SMART TV so that guests may stream their favorite TV shows. The large backyard space provides plenty of room for children to play. The provided grill is perfect for cooking a meal at the end of a busy day visiting the local beach, the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, or traveling into the town of Glen Arbor and visiting the local shops. After a day of fun in the sun, guests are invited to make a fire in the provided fire pit or stay in and play one of the provided board games. Take time to plan the next day's great adventure - will you hike a nature trail? Spend the day at the beach? Climb the dunes? Take a day trip into Traverse City? With so much to do, a week may not seem like enough!

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and or dishwasher tabs if dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.

Great location great space!

Wonderful location. 3 great rooms and 2 bathrooms for our family. Back yard was great. Location was perfect. Would rent again here in a heartbeat!

Clean and comfortable Firefly Cottage

We had a really nice stay at Firefly Cottage. The kitchen is well furnished, the beds are comfortable, and the front porch is a great spot for your morning coffee. The property manager is very pleasant and responsive. We hope to stay there again next year!

Cute cottage close to Glen Lake for a nice vacation

We stayed here as a Family of 4 during August 2023 for 5 nights. It is a well maintained property. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean. Appliances are neat. Kitchen has all basic utensils sufficient to cook, Grill is nice, fire pit is enjoyable. Location is great. Close to many things. We would happily stay here again.

Location, location, location

We enjoyed being on one level. The backyard activity opportunities were fun for the children in our family. Two slight issues: the shower by the garage did not drain well and one pull on a kitchen drawer was broken upon arrival. We would love to have had a crock pot and a Keurig for coffee. I rated the property a 4 because the mattress in on the extra bed in the 2-bed room needs to be replaced. The adult sleeper had to resort to the living room sofa. Queen mattresses were good.

The house was as listed, and we enjoyed having a three- day stay. It is conveniently located and we found it easy to find the spots we wanted to explore. I especially appreciated the ease of communication. I was confused about how to handle garbage and asked about it in the provided message link. There was an immediate response and an explanation of what I should do. I also appreciate the kind response when I asked for a check out delay of a couple of hours. Our teen grandson was taken to the emergency room because of running a very high fever. We were up most of the night before check out dealing with him and were exhausted. I was told to take some extra time and get rested up before our leaving. This was very helpful. Thanks!

Great location

We wasn't far from anything. It had a little view of the lake. Love the location. The place was nice and clean and provided everything we needed. The only problem that we had was when we was on our way there I didn't get a code sent to me for the door so I called a few times and didn't get an answer. She did call back and we lost the call and when we called back she was a little rude about giving the code.... If she would of sent it to me upon arrival I wouldn't have had to call her. Also, we thought there was no air conditioning but behind a basket hanging over the air conditioning unit we found it. Had no idea.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great for getting to the Sleeping Bear Dunes and downtown Glen Arbor. Our kids loved the backyard and sitting around the fire at night. Management was responsive when we had a couple questions.
