Esta cómoda y acogedora cabaña en el corazón de Glen Arbor es ideal para una pareja o un grupo pequeño. Frente privado (canoa incluida) en el río Crystal está al otro lado de la calle. 2 dormitorios y 1 baño. Cabaña de 1 nivel, orientada al sureste. Ubicado en West Harbour Hwy, a pie del centro de Glen Arbor. Duerme 5.

1 Queen, 1 Full y sofá cama. Pisos de madera, lavadora / secadora, TV por cable, DVD. Wifi. Parrilla de gas, pozo de fuego, cubierta. Esta cabaña económica es un retiro perfecto para el verano o el otoño. Camina a todo, desde esta ubicación: tiendas, restaurantes, mini golf, helados y más. Canchas de tenis alrededor de 1 milla de distancia. Visite el "lugar más hermoso de América", el Sleeping Bear Dunes, a 5 minutos. La naturaleza y la vida silvestre abundan.

This is a vintage cottage right on the edge of Glen Arbor. It is within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops.

We were Very disappointed with the cabin. The description and write up were very miss leading . It said there were 3 bedrooms and there were only 2. The pull out couch was not only very uncomfortable to sit on but impossible to sleep on. My sister slept on the floor. Everything is Very Old, with A moldy refrigerator and old furniture inside and out. Finally there is No frontage on the river. I would not recommend this to anyone. The best thing was that we could walk to town.

The value of this spot was the main plus - it’s a very cute cottage close to the Crystal River and to downtown. It was cozy and homey, but some of the features needed updating.

Perfect location

We had a great stay. Could not be a better location. We thought the beds were fine. Two minor problems, we could not get the WiFi to work and the screen on the front door was mostly broken. But neither of those affected us too much

Backache Express

This unit is fine if you are in your 20's. The beds were over 4 1/2 feet off the ground so I am glad we never stayed there with our children. If a kid fell off either bed they would break an arm or neck. If you are older the bed sinks down so much when you lie down that you look like you are folding into a pancake. Both beds are this way. It is also about 10 feet from a main road. But, when we called about it, we were moved to another property and that one was spectacular!!!!! Thank you to the ladies that got us moved, You Rock!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The big drawback were the beds. Both very soft, even with mattress toppers. Difficult to get out of the bed and you end up in the middle while sleeping. For the heat each room has an electric heater with the control at the base board heater. The front bedroom heater is behind the bed and difficult to get to and without knob. Location is great, walking distance to the coffee shop. The kitchen is sufficient for small meals.

Reviewer Comments: Great location, cottage was a little dated but we weren’t too concerned with that for our short stay.That said, the beds seemed very soft and had a sinking middle. We tried both rooms but similar issues. Other than the poor sleep, we enjoyed being close to town, sitting outside and being on the river.

Fernwood Cottage is neglected

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this cottage and found it badly in need of upgrades across the board. Soft beds with mattresses caving in at the center were nearly impossible to sleep in. The bathroom had a horrible smell, peeling paint, and a shower head well past its life-cycle with shower caddy duct taped to it. The rug in the living room was old and dirty. The kitchen was tiny with little to no counter space and dominated by an over large microwave oven. Some TLC would go a long way here. The cottage is coasting on excellent location and the fact that it has laundry facilities.

Great location near downtown Glen Arbor and the Crystal River. Comfortable cabin for 4 adults. Kitchen was tight, but had the basics for ability to make yummy hot breakfasts. Just set smoke alarm off once, placed a fan to make sure that didn’t happen again. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit twice. Had deer and a Pileated woodpecker in the yard. Appreciated the washer and dryer. Communication from Visit Up North was fantastic and very thorough! Great cabin to use as a base while enjoying this beautiful area.

Great location, questions for management

This rental is in a great location with easy access to Glen Arbor, Crystal River, Sleeping Bear National Park, and Glen Lake. We arrived to a clean cabin with 2 cozy bedroom and a small kitchen. My only concerns are with how we received our rental policies. First, our welcome email arrived 2 days before our check-in. We began traveling 4 days before check-in, and this email included new policies that would have changed our packing list had we received them further in advance. When we arrived, we found more additional policies, particularly around pet care. We would have to cancel several of our plans to follow this new information, which was not in our rental agreement. We ultimately decided these guidelines were non-binding, but it was unsettling to receive all this new information immediately before arrival. My recommendation to management would be EITHER to disclose ALL guidelines and policies as part of the rental agreement, OR make clear that any additional policies are suggestions and non-binding.

“Cozy Cabin” needs some updating

Everything is a miss match. Over looking a river: not.. over looking orange canoes. Yes a short walk to shops and places to eat. This picture shows the side of the property not 3 trash cans as you pull up to the property. The cleaning team does a great job. Owners not so much. Repairs and paint needed. 1400.00 for four nights was not the quality that we excepted,even in prime season.

Very Disappointing

The location was good, loved the wooded back yard and loved being close to town. However, after reading the positive reviews about cleanliness we were very disappointed because it was not clean. There was also a horrible smell that required the use of 2 entire cans of lysol. There is black mold and rust on the refrigerator, food scraps in the cupboards and drawers, dirt in the corners, unclean surfaces, dirty rugs, etc. There was no wood for the fire pit and be sure to bring soap, shampoo & conditioner, blow dryer etc. No internet. Simple directions for using the TV would be helpful. We love rustic, but unfortunatly the cabin needs cleaning, freshening, and simple basic fixing up. We found the bed to be VERY soft and mushy and the "additional" non-refundable cleaning fee for pets was much higher than the industry norm, especially for a tiny 4 pound non-sheding dog. We are in the area on a regular basis but unfortunatley we would not stay here in the future. Wish we could have provided a better review...

Was close to road , but our dog listens very well , so no concern . It was a great cabin , walking distance to town . Loved it !!
