Stephanine's cottage was sparkling clean. The view from inside and outside the cottage highlighted the beautiful fall colours. The inside was cozy and warm.

Everything was excellent. A few notes supplied did not apply to this property, re lawn mowing, gazebo info, etc., but otherwise all info was accurate. Location is beautiful and very quiet and restful, and the cottage is rustic and very comfortable.

We loved our end of summer visit. The space worked well for four adults. The cottage is sweet, and had everything we needed. The lake, dock and gazebo exceeded our expectations. Swimming, fishing, canoeing, bonfires, and watching the wildlife were enjoyed by all of us.The lake was filled with smallmouth bass. We would love to return!

A beautiful location and we'll equipped cabin that is exactly as described. Our family had an amazing time here, enjoying kayaking and canoeing on the lake and traveling to the great nearby beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay in the peaceful environment of the property. We paddled every day. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for the two of us. The shower was great and we slept very well with the quiet surroundings. Mark was very helpful and always responded quickly to our questions.

The stay was absolutely wonderful. The cottage has everything you need including air conditioning. We were very sad to leave and hope to go back every year.

It was the perfect fall retreat. We enjoyed this pristine small cottage on a dreamy quiet lake. Extremely restful with all amenities in close proximity. We enjoyed walking at blue see beach just a short drive away and visiting with family in the area.Already planning our next visit!

Lovely cottage right on the lake

Cottage was beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything one needs in a vacation property. Plenty of fish in this lake, we caught 24 bass in 4 days. Highly recommend!

Tucked Away Delight!

What a spot, and what a gem. Situated on a beautiful lake, close to all amenities, with everything you need on the property for a pleasant stay. Loads of exploring to do - check out the Pugwash Farmers' Market, the Peace Trail, Gulf Shore Beach! Worth a stay, for sure!

Stay on Angevine Lake

We had an awesome time here. It was quiet and peaceful. One comment about the esthetics of the property: there is a line of trees that completely obscure the view of the lake from the cottage. If they were removed the view would be amazing.

Fall to remember!

Rented this lovely cottage in October. Cozy, clean, beautiful fall colours. Put a sweater on & drink a nice off hot tea/coffee & enjoy no noise & view of lake from deck!!

Family getaway

This was probably the best family summer vacation we have had. I grew up going to Angeline Lake, and was able to share those memories with my children and wife. Everyone had plenty of space to stretch out. The lake is the best entertainment there is. Cannon balls and canoeing were enjoyed by everyone. We will definitely be returning next year.

The great outdoors

Everything was just perfect, even better than expected. My son caught a lot of fish and they loved the kayaking. The house was fantastic. Loved the wood veneer. Really we could not find anything we didn't like. Definitely recommend to everyone, family and couples alike. Thank you very much for letting us stay there!

Angevine Is Fine

We stayed here 9 nights while waiting for our house renovations to be completed. Loved the property especially the dog who swam in the lake most of the day! Lots of beds, full kitchen, newer bathroom and the washer/dryer were truly a bonus. Mark was always available to answer questions which we appreciated. Really enjoyed the covered porch when it rained. Thank you!

Calm and Quiet

The drive to the cottage was easy and really not too far from the airport. Check in and communication with the host was great. Once we arrived right away i felt comfortable and relaxed exactly how it should be out on a lake. Unfortunately we never got to experience the whole stay right there on the lake, but it was really nice to call it home at the end of every day because we traveled in every direction many kms experiencing everythjng atlantic canada had to offer us. The lake cottage was the perfect location to see it all! Big thank you for the host to offer a such a wonderful place for us to stay!

Peace and quiet at the lake

We had a very good, peaceful stay in this cottage on Angevine Lake.Close to many areas of natural interest we explored in Nova Scotia. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was very well stocked. I caught a fish off the dock!! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the dock. Perhaps owing to the rainfall levels this season there was some mustiness in the bedding - maybe increased laundering would be helpful. We would come again😊

Thank you for your comments. Yes, the rain has been extraordinary! We will certainly monitor the mustiness. There is lots of additional bedding. Please know you are welcome to replace the bedding if it was ever a problem again (which we sincerely hope it is not!) Looking forward to your next visit.

I have no complaints about my stay at Angevine Lake. It was a lovely little cottage that had everything we needed. But the highlight by far was the beautiful lake waterfront! The dock and supplied canoe and kayak were great for accessing the lake! The lake was quiet and the property was private - it was perfect!Communication with the host was easy. Check in/out was effortless. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!
