Warm Ocean Waters | Cozy Cottage for Family Getaways

Relax with the whole family at our cozy beachfront cottage just steps away from the warmest ocean waters north of the Carolina's.

Nestled in Port Howe, NS, you're just 3 minutes to the closest lobster pound, local market, 10 minutes to the local grocery and liquor store, and within 30 minutes of 4 golf courses.

This is truly a getaway where you can sit back, relax at the sandy beach, swim, play games in the back yard, and enjoy the stars at night.

Our cottage is located approximately 100m from the beach on the Northumberland Straight. The beach is sandy, then a few rocks and shells before reaching the sandbars. Many sandbars at low tide are great for kids and fun to explore. The ocean is the warmest here in all of Nova Scotia.

Our view is unobstructed and oceanfront. Enjoy the sunset from the deck or indoors.

This was the first time i rented a cottage always did hotels .I will be renting cottages from now on.The veiw was out of this worldGetting up in the morning going out on the spacious deck watching the sun rise over the water was so relaxing.Everything you need for your stay is here,the only thing we had to get was the food we eat.THANK YOU so much for letting us stay in your cottage its definitely one for the memory book....

All the comforts of home and then some! This cottage getaway is so perfect for families looking to enjoy the beach. Safely set back from the cliff, the cottage offers stunning views of the ocean and is only a stones throw away from some of the best sand bars I have ever seen. The beach is FULL of little creatures and treasures. My 7 and 3 year olds had the time of their lives exploring the sand bars.The cottage itself is wonderful. So clean and spacious. The upstairs is air conditioned for a perfect mid-afternoon escape from the sun.There is a tv with a great selection of streaming services and a huge collection of DVDs. My only warning is for families with small children: the stairs leading to the bedrooms are steep and a little dangerous for young ones. Please keep in mind if you have several little ones running around, or elderly folks with mobility issues.Lastly, the Country Market down the road is well stocked and has everything you need to get you through a day or two. There is some amazing food nearby as well.Whoever stays here better take care of this little gem because it's perfect! Leave a dvd to the collection too!

Look no further as this cottage offers much more than the usual and above and beyond what you think you might be renting. We weren't sure if we were coming home from holiday or cottage-sitting for a good friend. Everything that you want, and then some, is available. Everything in the App description is as it says it is. The directions were clear and concise, the check-in process was seamless, communicating with the hosts was superb. The location is amazing. Although the cottage is in a village of cottages, (the neighbours seemed friendly), its location, with direct water view and access, means that you see only two other cottages. The added amenities were above and beyond what you usually get when renting a cottage. They had not just one or two DVD's, but a whole bookcase to choose from. The hosts have gone above and beyond to providing exceptional amenities and many extras. When we ran into a glitch with the tv (we didn't read the amenities link), we contacted the host for help. The reply was immediate, extremely helpful and most hospitable. These folks want to make sure your stay is the best--and they deliver. They sent along a most helpful resource guide for the surrounding area. This cottage is well loved by the hosts and they want to share it, and they do so generously.

This is a very special area to us. One of us grew up for a time in the area, and enjoyed these warm beaches as a child. Having this little peace of heaven is a joy, and we are so happy to be able to share it with you.

We love spending time at the beach, going to the local Farmers Market on the weekend, and taking in fire’s at night and enjoying the stars.

Our property nestled right on the Ocean with lots of ways to enjoy the area. Firepit to enjoy a fire at night and look up at the stars, a large backyard to to play lawn games, large back deck to entertain with a new BBQ for the grill master of the group, and if it rains - lots of games for kids and parents inside. Plus, streaming services with the Google Chromecast or a large array of DVD’s to choose from for kids and parents!

We love our little getaway, and we’re sure you will too!
