Our charming little house is an upstairs /downstairs chalet on the fringe of the bush leading down to the beach.
Pet friendly WATERFRONT CHALET at Campbells/Baddeleys Beach, 8 mins from Matakana & 12 mins to Tawharanui Ocean Beach and Omaha.
Perfect for two people.

Short Stay

A number of items one assumes will be provided we’re not i.e a working TV. Nevertheless we enjoyed our short stay and had a relaxing time.

We were disappointed with this first revue for the Little House. (This place is only recently listed on this site). Even though it is a 4 star review the comments are not accurate and therefore misleading and might put people off. We have 44 great reviews for this little house on the competitors site (Airxxx) and a rating of 4.8 stars out of 5. Our information on the web and what we send out is very full to the point of being pedantic so people know ahead what to bring & expect and what not to expect! Most important. My guess is that our guests didn’t read all that info properly before they came. We didn’t hear from them during the two days, so had no chance to rectify anything we could. Anyway moving on, please don’t let this put you off, check ahead with us for what you need.

Tranquil Spot

My Mum and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It is so peaceful and quiet with beautiful views of the ocean and birdsong in the trees. The hosts have thought of everything and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the outdoor seating areas - in the sun and the shade. Our 2 dogs loved being with us and we appreciated being able to take them. It’s only 10 mins from Matakana and there are so many things you can do in this region. I highly recommend this property.

Great getaway

My partner and I had a beautiful time here over our anniversary weekend. All areas available to us were amazing, the chalet itself was comfortable and homely, the outdoor area looking out to the beach through the trees was serene (especially on a clear night, the view of the stars was incredible) and then just a short walk down to the beach where we use the kayaks both days we were there. Couldn’t recommend more, we will definetly be back. The photos truely don’t do it justice!

Quiet stay in the trees above the water

Great cozy place to stay - nice walk along the waterfront . Surrounded by trees and birds. House has a coffee machine and plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the view.

We are ancients, in our late 70s and livee for many years in our home on Gt Barrier Island.
We have five children and 15 grandchildren plus six great grandson who are long out of the nest and mostly living overseas. So we often to go over to visit & let out our little chalet. We love motor-homing so are often away in that also.

We discovered this little piece of paradise, a reminder of our home on Barrier and the same proximity to the beach. We love it here and will stay as long as possible.

Bush and bird life, water proximity, outlook, general tranquility, ocean beach of Tawharanui so close, village cinema, shops cafes and restaurants only 10 mins.
Just about paradise.
