Gulf View, Ground Floor TH on West End of Mexico Beach ~ Set Sail at 5

Set Sail at 5 is located on South 38th Street, 200 yards to the beach with no roads to cross. It is a ground level townhome with the open living space with living room, dining area, kitchen and half bath on the bottom floor and the 2 bedrooms are located on the second floor. Beyond the kitchen door, you’ll find a fenced patio with outdoor dining even complete with a ceiling fan hanging from the pergola to help move the afternoon air around. On the 2nd floor, both bedrooms have their own private deck each with its own gulf view. The deck off of Bedroom 1 is a little smaller with a minimal gulf view, but the deck to the rear of the townhouse off of Bedroom 2 is a larger sundeck with furniture and more visible gulf views. Both bedrooms have their own TV’s and full bath.

If you’re traveling in a larger group and need more space, Set Sail at .7 is 2 doors down and is a 3-bedroom townhouse. Both are owned by the same person and are very comparable in quality and décor.

Like to stay active on your beach vacation? Here are just a few of the outdoor activities in beautiful Mexico Beach. Something for everyone to enjoy: swim in the warm turquoise waters of the Gulf or Mexico, collect sea shells (excellent shelling at Crooked Island, less than 1.7 miles west on HWY 98!), take a boat ride (a boat ramp is less than a tenth of a mile away from Set Sail 5), fish for the big one, go diving, kayaking, surfing, take in an eco-tour. Relax on the beautiful sugar white sands only a few steps away from Set Sail at 5 with a cool drink, a good book and an umbrella.

Mexico Beach is a nature lover’s paradise. Many bird species can be found in Mexico Beach. Look around and you'll probably see osprey, bald eagles, pelicans, herons and egrets. At least five species of sea turtles can be found in our area. Loggerhead turtle hatchlings come out in the late summer. Try to spot dolphins as they dive through the waves all year long. Sea turtles, urchins, starfish, crabs, and sand dollars are abundant here as well.
