The Grove Sanctuary, is a tranquil spot to relax and unwind to the sound of the ocean
Located in Puntarenas, Province, southern Costa Rica, on the Playa Zancudo Peninsula. The area is laid back and non touristy. The Grove is 300ft. from the beach and just off the main road. The large veranda overlooks the surrounding gardens with ample hammocks & seating. Includes a large fully equipped kitchen. Full private bath & bedroom sleeping 5. A perfect place for families or those looking for a tranquil retreat.
The Space
The Grove is surrounded by nature, you can look for dolphins just off the coast in the morning and bird and animal watch all day long, then fall asleep to the chorus of crickets & creatures of the mangrove at night. Our sanctuary garden is filled with flowers and edible fruits and we follow sustainable permaculture practices. The Grove is bright & tranquil and has many spaces to explore or relax and also great wifi and multiple places to work remotely. This is a great space for those needing a self retreat, or a get away to work on a project in peace. Also a great safe space for families, with playgrounds and beach all walking distance away.
Guest Access
Parking is available, and if you don't have a car all that is needed is accessible by walking and taxi. Stores & restaurants are all walking distance, and a fruit & veggie delivery comes by twice a week. Day trips to Pavones's surf and excellent rainforest hikes, waterfall adventures and dolphin boat rides are all close by.

As a world traveller I love meeting people from anywhere in the world. My space is so tranquil for anyone to come back to simplicity and relax in nature and of course on the Pacific Ocean . It’s non-touristy and safe for families. Many activities await you here in Playa Zancudo. I hold reiki energy treatments and teaching and serve authentic Sri Lankan vegetarian cuisine upon request. It’s off the beaten path from busy tourist traffic. You get to enjoy nature at your own pace and really relax. Very friendly locals who great you at anytime. Fresh local fish and seafood at its best.

The apartment is a spacious ground floor of the house with a wrap around veranda overlooking the back and front gardens. It’s a one minute walk to the beach the best calm family beach in all of Playa Zancudo.
