Within urban bushlands, this gorgeous brick home is a stone’s throw from Mudgee Golf Course and a five-minute drive to town. 8th Tee offers city fringe seclusion in a country-style ambience that’s been lovingly restored while retaining elements of that ‘70s charm. If you’re not on wine tours or at the putting green, fire up the BBQ in the grassy yard, gather in the cosy living area, rest easy in one of four generous bedrooms with heated blankets, or cook at home in the fully equipped kitchen.
Set within tranquil bushland surrounds, this home blends mid-century warmth with a fresh, contemporary touch. The entry opens to a bright living area with a leafy outlook—sink into soft grey lounges, unwind with a movie on the TV, or let music fill the room from the piano, a nod to the home’s nostalgic charm.

Spend mornings sipping coffee on the front bench before whipping up breakfast in the well-catered, 70s original kitchen updated with modern inclusions. The space is perfectly equipped for relaxed stays, featuring a full-sized fridge, oven and stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, and Nespresso machine. Gather for meals at the timber dining table for six, then catch up on emails at the dedicated workspace off the kitchen.

Step outside to a lush backyard—ideal for alfresco afternoons. Dine beneath the covered patio at the rustic timber table, fire up the BBQ for an easy meal, or settle around the fire pit as evening falls.

Four thoughtfully styled bedrooms offer peaceful retreats, each bathed in soft natural light. Three feature queen beds dressed in premium linens and layered textures, while the fourth includes two singles—ideal for friends or family seeking flexible sleeping arrangements. The bathroom combines modern fittings with complimentary toiletries, complemented by a second half bathroom for added convenience. There is a lock-up garage available for one small vehicle, motorbikes, or bicycles. Additional parking is available on the driveway.

Great family accommodation

This property is great for families with young children. Plenty of rooms, a big back yard for quiet play and the rocket park down the street for when they need to be noisy. Short drive in to town, not far from an IGA if you don't want to go to Coles/Woolies. It was perfect for us.

10 Night Stay

Amenities mentioned air conditioning. There was only air conditioning in 2 of the 7 rooms. The stove top spill trays were absolutely filthy. The kitchen cupboards had no reasonable lining on the shelves. The cupboards needed renovation or replaced. There are no bbq tools at all. Apart from that the rest of the house was acceptable.

Upon careful review of the property listing on Stayz/VRBO we were unable to locate any reference to ducted air conditioning being available throughout the entire property. While air conditioning is indeed present within the home, it is possible that not every bedroom explicitly mentions this feature. I would like to clarify that we did not intend to mislead you in any way. We have dealt with matter concerning the stove spill trays, as this falls below the standard of cleanliness and maintenance that we consistently strive to uphold. It is worth noting that while 8th Tee may not be considered modern, we take your feedback regarding the oven's heating capacity seriously and have looked into addressing this concern. We sincerely value the opportunity to rectify any unsatisfactory experiences during your stay. Had we been informed, we would have promptly cleaned the stove spill trays and provided replacement BBQ tools to ensure your comfort. Once again, thank you for being wonderful guests.
