Decent condo in Deep Creek

Stayed here for a baseball tournament. It's decent but could definitely use some updating. All the bathrooms need gutted and replaced. Couldn't use the upstairs shower because it was broken when we got there (couldn't turn the cold water off). Called property manager who came in an instant and got the water turned off but the problem wasn't fixed so we only used the shower on the main floor. The kitchen cabinets could use a good cleaning and paint job at the least. Lots of seating in the place. Pool table and foosball in the basement with an extra fridge and sink. Could be a really great 5 star place if the updates were made. All in all not a bad stay but wouldn't return unless it was updated. Great location.

You may want to consider someplace else

A few things that weren't completely accurate with the listing: - "Central A/C" - Nope. There were A/C units in most of the rooms, but certainly this should not be considered Central Air - "Garage" - No garage that I saw anywhere near the premises - "No smoking" - it was clear and obvious that there had, at least in the past, been smoking in the basement. I could certainly smell at least the residual smell of it. - "No pets allowed" - there was the distinct smell of dog up in the living area. This could just be the result of not having a deep clean from a previous owner (???) but we could smell it The TV's didn't have cable as far we saw. They did have Amazon fire TV access, which offered the various apps. We wanted to watch the NHL playoffs, for instance, but didn't have access. The basement had a dehumidifier that needed to be emptied daily -- this should have been indicated on the description. It was full when we arrived, doubt it had been emptied anytime recently. This may have contributed to the smell (damp, etc.) of cigarette smoke. The carpeting in the basement had several black marks on it, where it was obvious there had been significant traffic and no significant cleaning. All in all, you get what you pay for. In this price bracket, it's one of the cheaper options. There were a handful of ways this property could have been updated in the past. The property seemed "tired". If I had to do it again, I'd probably stay elsewhere.

Nice looking place but

We had numerous issues during the stay. There was no hot water upon arrival and the AC broke down on our last night there. Maintenance was able to fix the hot water but not the AC. Property manager stated he planned to send me some gift cards by way of an apology but I'm still awaiting those. I was afraid to touch the Foosball table because it would likely fall apart if anyone attempted to play. Overall, this was built as a rental unit and it shows.

Property was exactly as listed and photographed. Very reasonably priced and a nice quiet location close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Dirty

The furniture was great. The location was good. The pictures made the second bedroom look a lot bigger. The washer leaked. There was no handle on the main bathroom door. The sink handle on the hot water wasn’t there. The mat in the tub had mold on it. The dining room light didn’t work. There was a nasty bucket that had water in it from the ac in the second bedroom. A light in the basement wiling was crashed in. There were crumbs in all the kitchen drawers. The white towels looked dirty. Maybe some new towels in a different color. I have never had such a horrible experience with communication. I sent many messages to Evolve and they never responded. I finally called them and they said “there are so many messages we can’t get back in a timely manner”. What? I called the local number in the welcome book and they did help in a timely manner. If it was clean and taken care of it would have been so much nicer.

Great for a friends get together

We went on a lake house vacation here with myself, my partner, and two other friends. The pool table and foosball table downstairs were really great hang out spots after dinner. Everything in town is a super close drive, and the location relative to Deep Creek is fantastic. There are a few places where some maintenance probably needs to be done inside, but it’s purely aesthetic and it did not affect our stay at all. Super clean and great communication. Would recommend.

Deep Creek Vacation

Spent 10 days in home. Great host, quiet, tranquil home close to everything. Spent time at Honi honi bar, Uno restaurant, Dutches and many others but those 3 were awesome. Went to 4 water-falls in the area, funland, jet skiing , fishing and also had a boat for 2 days. A great vacation and will definitely return soon.

We had an awesome experience. Home is close to everything. We went to Swallow Falls, fishing, boating and had fine dining experience. Host was very responsive and the internet was very fast since I was working from home and it was great.
