Aspen 15: 2-bedroom mountain condo with hot tub


All the necessities for a comfortable getaway in the mountains are included in this family-friendly, two-bedroom private vacation rental. Aspen 15 is a second-floor condo in The Aspens subdivision at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

The main area is open concept through the kitchen, dining and living space featuring an electric fireplace. The large outdoor deck offers a private hot tub, propane barbecue and endless mountain views. One room in this condo has a queen bed, and the other has a twin queen bunk bed. Extra sleeping space in the living room with a pull-out couch. Underground heated garage for one vehicle with storage locker.

The Aspens subdivision is located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Its prime location makes trails at the resort easily accessible, whether biking in the summer or skiing in the winter. It is 15 minutes away from the town of Golden, British Columbia and 20 minutes to the Golden Sky Bridge Adventure Park. If you’re looking to explore, we are surrounded by six National parks; Banff, Yoho, Kootenay, Glacier, Revelstoke and Jasper.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire condo. Self check-in with keypad access.

Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $45+tax, per animal. Guests must advise they are bringing animals. Fee will be added to reservation upon booking and is refundable upon cancellation.

Since 2003, LUSH Mountain Accommodations has provided clean, comfortable, and private vacation rentals at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and Golden, British Columbia. Hot tubs are always included.

Friends Trip

We had a great time staying here. It is a ways from town, but we enjoyed the private hot tub and the views of the valley. The BBQ needs some maintenance and there was no outdoor fireplace like in the pictures, but maybe that was put away for the winter. Overall a great time and great place to stay. We hope to come back next year.

Summer stay - Great biking homebase with puppy

Aspen is a good spot to launch towards regional trails or go to the Kicking horse resort hill for downhill (or take the gondola up for a hike). This property had everything we needed, was in good shape, had easy to communicate with (and responsive) property managers, and best of all welcomed our doggy.

Overall Excellent Place to Stay

Came for a three day trip to be closer to white water rafting. Overall the place was great, except for a few minor broken items which we let them know about - most importantly the BBQ is in really bad shape. While not their fault, with increasing hot days they should probably consider putting in a portable AC unit as it made sleeping tough - but I would still stay there again.

Great place to ski Kicking Horse

The condo was clean, attractive and nicely set up. It is on the top floor but the skis are kept in a locker in the garage so going up the stairs is not really an issue. The ski out is very close but the ski in was a bit of a challenge to find the way back to the condo. Easily within walking distant to the resort for going out to dinner. We had a lovely stay.

A week at Kicking Horse

A fantastic property with all the amenities you could need for a snowboarding vacation. Compared to other nearby units, this is an extremely well priced location for how close you are to the lifts. This ski in, ski out spot with a private hot tub was the perfect size for our small group on our annual trip. I would highly recommend this location to anyone that is planning a trip to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Great communication from the host, as lots of space to store your ski or snowboard equipment, and if you drive a smaller vehicle (i.e. not a pick up truck), you'll have underground parking for your vehicle, and there is also street parking available if needed.

Great location, nice space but showing wear

The condo is in a great location near the Kicking Horse resort lodges. We went in May and enjoyed some of the hiking available nearby. As the listing mentions, the condo is on the 2nd floor, and one has to go up two flights of stairs to get to the front door. The ground-level parking (underneath the condo) is really for small cars only. We came with our pickup, and parking inside wasn't really a convenient option. Inside the condo there are lots of windows to let in the light. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment - no worries there. Lots of towels and some extra blankets available. Linens are provided, so no need to bring your own. The furniture looks like the pictures, but the springs are done in the loveseat and one of the stools by the kitchen is questionable to sit on. The BBQ is past its prime. The management firm (Lush) was extremely helpful and quick to respond when I called about needing propane and provided a great alternative to the BBQ in the suite. The hot tub was wonderful to have, and the views from the hot tub are awesome. The components for the TV system could be placed in a better spot to allow for easier signal access to the remote. The bed mattresses are very much on the firm side, so if that's your preference, enjoy! Overall, the stay was very good - the condo was very much as expected, and we appreciated all the amenities. Thank you.

Great place!!

Ended up getting some incredible powder which made for an even better trip but place was great, so clean, stocked with everything you need. Only complaint would be no where to put clothes in main room but that’s it!! Will definitely come again
