Fragrant Harbour is the perfect family retreat, offering stunning ocean views, a private heated summer pool, and a cosy log fire for winter escapes. Just a 10-minute walk to the region’s best beaches, this eco-friendly home features spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, peaceful garden surrounds, and plenty of room for everyone to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Fragrant Harbour is a beautifully designed eco-friendly retreat, powered day and night by a full Plico solar and battery system and supplied by fresh rainwater. Architect-designed and professionally styled, the home combines luxury, comfort, and sustainability.

The open-plan living area features a custom Corian wave-shaped kitchen bench, chef-grade appliances, a dedicated larder, and seamless flow to the main lounge with modular leather seating, a flatscreen TV, and a cosy log fire. The adjoining dining area faces the landscaped garden and ocean views.

Upstairs, a second lounge offers a peaceful retreat with an antique Chinese daybed and telescope. Glass stacker doors open to the expansive viewing terrace with an outdoor lounge and outdoor dining table—perfect for sunset drinks after a long day of exploring.

A private pool house sits at the back of the property featuring a lounge area, kitchenette, toilet and outdoor shower.

Fragrant Harbour comfortably sleeps 6 guests across 4 master bedrooms.

Downstairs:
- King bedroom with ensuite
- Flexible bedroom (king or two singles) with large bathroom opposite

Upstairs:
- King bedroom with ensuite
- Queen bedroom with ensuite

Each bedroom has unique styling and relaxing ocean views.

The rear of the property spans three terraced levels:
- Upper terrace with dining, BBQ, and sheltered lounge
- Middle terrace with lawn, trampoline and a hammock
- Lower level with resort-style pool, Balinese bale, lush gardens, and an outdoor shower

Please note: the pool is solar heated and therefore best enjoyed in the warmer months (December–March).

WIFI, C-Bus lighting, and reverse-cycle air-conditioning are available throughout the house. The location is superb—close to the Prevelly General Store, White Elephant Beach Café, The Common Bar & Bistro, and several family-friendly beaches. Margaret River township and top wineries are a short 10–15 minute drive away.

Guests have access to the entire home, gardens, terraces, and pool area.
All linen and towels—including beach towels—are provided.

External security cameras monitor the outside areas only; there are no cameras inside the house. All vehicles must be parked within the property boundary. The garage is not for guest use.

Hosting the Margaret River Pro Surfing competition each year, Prevelly Park Beach offers sensational surfing conditions for those die-hard surfers and neighbouring Gnarabup Beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling and fishing, for those who want to take it easy.

Ours is a quiet residential neighbourhood. We cannot stress enough to please respect our community and do not have loud gatherings at the house.

There isn`t a bus service in Margaret River so you may want to drive or hire a car. We do have taxi services and designated drivers available in town, if you require transport from the Perth Airport please contact us and we can suggest a local driver.

- The home uses solar and battery power and is supplied by a rainwater tank; an eco-friendly system that also protects against blackouts.

- The pool is solar heated and therefore best enjoyed from December to March.

- A well-trained dog may be accepted on request only.

Sunsets, Whales and plenty of space

Really happy with our stay, great views, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms which was great for 4 couples. Added bonus was watching whales from the upstairs balcony and then the sun set over the water.

TLC Required

Property was comfortable, however more attention required to the cleaning of it prior to incoming guests would have impressed us more. Coffee stains and cup rings on benches and areas out of view clearly revealed the less than adequate attention. Whilst the pool was a drawcard for us, we had to uncover it ourselves and found it was in need of a good vacuum and not pristine. Would have expected it all set up and ready to go as in the promo photos. Initially could not get air conditioning upstairs operating and did phone owner however no one could come out till the next day and the house was hot so was not impressed. We eventually re set all the power and luckily that got it working. The house was very technical in that light switches and fans were on electronic switches and they would randomly just all go off without notice. Turns out there is a timer function however we could not find any mention of how to work these in the manual provided and had to work out ourselves. TV required like 4 remotes to get going however this maybe a reflection of the area. Anybody not technically minded may find all these difficult. Showers also proved cumbersome as appeared to be pressure issues maybe by a pump that periodically caused lack of water. Blinds upstairs broken in one of the bedrooms so couldn't close and others again on electrical switches. Lots of cupboards out of bounds with private signs allowing little space for guests belongings. Zip tap installed with a sign not working! The provision of pantry essentials was great with no need to go out and get any basics, tea, coffee, oils etc. so that was handy. Overall felt the property was once high end with all its fancy gadgets but now in need of some good maintenence and TLC.
