This is the 3rd year we've stayed in this apartment block and the view from the balcony is amazing. The accommodation is everything you would want, clean, spacious, well-equipped and welcoming. The other residents in the block are very friendly. Parking is easy. The Nature Reserve linked to the accommodation is a lovely stroll with an abundance of wildlife. You will probably see dolphins during your stay and will definitely see pelicans!We would recommend doing the kayak trip on the Crystal River at Weeki Wachee.

Needs cleaning and new bedding

The location is really nice but the floors were filthy, I came in on a Sat and didn't get them cleaned until Wed. The communication about check in was poor as no fob for the pool or community center available for 3 days. The bedding is really old and needs to be replaced. I have never had such an experience with other Florida locations using VRBO.

Amazing View

My husband and I loved staying at this property! I actually watched the sun both rise and set from the balcony. We definitely recommend staying!! The only negative thing I can say is that we didn’t stay long enough!

Nice unit that needs a little TLC.

Let’s start with the good. The Gulf Island Beach & Tennis Club Condominium complex is very nice. Complete with everything that you would want. Heated pool, large exercise room, most complete game room that I have seen, pickle ball courts, 24-hour gated entrance, good parking, some of the nicest people you could meet and more. This is a one-bedroom unit on the 6th floor with plenty of room and good view. Now the not so good. I will try to keep this short. You rent a unit with an ocean view to be able to sit and view the ocean. The railing on the patio is a solid wall. This unit had 2 short chairs with double pads on them in an attempt to sit you higher I am guessing. This does not work and only makes the chairs uncomfortable to try and set in. The small table fits the chairs but has one leg ready to fall off. So if you like to sit and relax and enjoy the view while you’re on vacation this is not it. The first 2 days of our there was cool with a strong wind coming in off the gulf. Both side of the sliding door (slider and stationary) are not sealed. When you close the curtains there was enough wind to move them quite a bit. Keep your shoes on as there was a good breeze across the floor. As for the furnishings they are a cheap as you can get. So you get what you pay for with the comfort. You can get by with the kitchen, but a complete set of silver ware would be nice. This unit just needs some repairs and updates. Until then I would look at different unit in the complex.

Relaxing break from the cold north weather!

I enjoyed this condo and its amenities for a wonderful warm month! Hudson is close to many fun places to visit. The owner was very responsive and kind regarding any issues. Place is great for one or two people.

A Hidden Gem

Condo well appointed. Large for a 1/1 with plenty of storage areas. No problems, everything you could need supplied. Quiet, at end of building close to open water. Lagoon with mallard ducks, brown pelicans, turtles and 2 dolphin cruising through. The walk around the lagoon is beautiful. Guarded gate and only your fob can get you into back of building area where the pools are. Nice clubhouse area. Other family members stayed in a 2/2 and liked the set-up of ours better. We were all pleasantly surprised with the complex. Gulf Inn is our favorite restaurant there, a five minute drive without having to get back on main road. Thank you Kim!

Short stay

View is wonderful. Owner communicates well and quickly. We didn't have any issues. Restaurants and grocery store very close. Property was clean and well maintained.

Nice Stay

The property was very nice. Well kept and you can tell they've added some modern amenities. Close to Crystal River where we swam with the manatees and also close to several great seafood restaurants. Not a typical beach experience as there's no real "sandy" area, but we did enjoy the nature trail and pool. Overall a great experience at a nice property!

Nothing to do….

Pretty nice condo. May be best suited for adults just looking to stay put. If you have kids plan on doing a lot of driving to find something to do. Out side the gates seem a little suspect to me. We left after one day and got a place in Lido Key. Property manger responds quickly. No complaints there.
