Great stay and experience

Sarah is a great host, very helpful and quick to respond, and property is exactly as described. The gulf and lagoon views from the balcony are phenomenal, and so are the views from the front of the property overlooking the home, canals, and gulf of Mexico. We stayed for 30 days and had everything we needed during our stay.Highly recommended! Location is great. You won't be disappointed!

Hudson Getaway

Had a wonderful vacation in Sarah's condo. The place was stocked with everything we needed. I made good use of the blender! View of the ocean and lagoon provided some fantastic pictures from the balcony. Enjoyed seeing the dolphins come and play in the lagoon and by the canal in the front of the building. Pool was warm and inviting with lots of chairs available. Beach by the lagoon was also an extra if you did not want to travel to some of the local beaches. Laundry facilities on the same floor, just needed to download an app to utilize. We walked to get ice cream and also would walk when we a few km to dinner when we both wanted some beverages. Would definitely come back again.

Relaxing and full of activities

The condo was so clean and nicely decorated. The unit is really stocked well with even some surprise items which put a smile on my face. The recliner chair was so relaxing as well as the nice big bed. The view was great as we could see a couple of manatees swimming below which could not be seen at lower levels. The pool and the people are just a welcome addition to our stay.

Charming and Fun

This condo is charming and very comfortable and perfect for us. The Olympic sized pool was so much fun and gave us day after day of enjoyment. The condo community was friendly and welcoming, too—made us feel right at home. We will be back!

Hidden gem

The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated. The views from the balcony were terrific. We saw dolphins and manateee in the lagoon on several occasions. Sarah was just great, answering our questions to insure we had an enjoyable stay! The pool was heated, and the highlight of our month long stay. We plan on comming back!

Quiet treasure

Sarah’s condo was super clean, really well equiped and had a terrific view from the balcony. We enjoyed seeing all the wild life and walking the nature trail. Community is friendly and is definitely geared for adults.

Pre winter getaway …. Soooo good

Loved the warm pool. Unit had lots of extras … supplies, linens, towels, dishes. But also the little things… like the nightlight in the bathroom, 25 cent filtered drinking water on first floor, helpful gatehouse staff. Fabulous views … dolphins

Perfect stay at Gulf Island Beach and Tennis Club Resort

Everything was exactly as described. The kitchen is supplied with all that you would need for a month or longer stay. Both Keuring and regular coffee pot; your choice. I found the king size bed with lots of pillows very comfortable. The views of the gulf are incredible! Sarah was lovely to talk to and I would definitely go back.

5 Star Rating Says It All!

The condo was great & Sarah was a gracious host. We enjoyed our views of the water & daily walks around the nearby streets. It was very pleasurable to prepare our evening dinners, including Thanksgiving Day "feast" for two, which were all served on the outside deck/porch. We would seriously think about a return visit to the condo in the future. Thanks Sarah - Terry & Theresa A.

An excellent escape

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s place by the sea! Needed a place to land and recover from some stressful times, very glad I found this VRBO. The community is well kept; all of the staff we met was professional and pleasant. The property is gated with a full time guard so it feels very safe. Sarah’s condo is homey and comfortable – equipped with all that you will need to create your own meals or enjoy take out from some of the excellent local seafood restaurants. The Wifi is fast and never faltered. But the real value of Sarah’s home is the water views from every room. You can enjoy looking at canals, waterfront homes and the Gulf while doing the dishes. From the living room and bedroom you have fabulous full Gulf views. Sunsets are magnificent but we also enjoyed the glorious sunrises and the sweeping Gulf summer storms. Since the unit's balcony faces north you are not hit with the full afternoon sun of a west facing unit, allows you to spend time on the balcony as the sun sets without being too warm. The views are exceptional - dolphins fishing in the morning, shrimp boats heading out at sunset. You could spend your entire visit on the balcony and be happy. But the community also has a lovely pool, a well kept exercise room and a nature path that takes you along the Gulf and the lagoon – perfect for those early morning walks. Sarah is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating. I give her, her home and her Gulf side community my warmest recommendations

Clean and comfortable stay!

The property is a favorite. It is a reasonable drive to places with excitement, yet quiet and peaceful. The condo was in excellent shape, with everything I needed. Fully stocked, I didn't need to go without anything. I would highly recommend.

Great View!

The condo was everything we needed for our Thanksgiving getaway. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the morning and beautiful sunsets each night. The property was central to all of our favorite places. Great place to stay!

great vacation

The condo was very attractive. It ha everything you needed for a great vacation. The view from the deck was amazing. The only negative was no wifi in condo but could go to rec area for wifi. We had a great vacation.

I am a early retired school teacher and principal with 23 years experience working with special needs children-I purchased this condo because I feel in love with it and the location. No spring breakers!! I prefer to rent to retired couples with no children or pets. Where else can you get such a beautiful setting at an affordable price.
