About the home
"Echidna Hollow" is a family friendly single level home with 3 separate living areas in Cowes, just a short drive from the beach, and restaurants, cafes and supermarkets of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
This expansive home offers a Master bedroom with en-suite (with double vanity, shower and separate toilet), a separate laundry, central open plan kitchen (with walk through pantry) opening into the generous sized dining and family room (with smart TV). Close by is the separate 2nd living (or sitting) room and nearer the front of the home is TV room (with smart TV). Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 all have BIR and close access to the main bathroom (with bath and shower) and separate powder room.
With the table tennis table (in the garage), dozens of DVD's, lots of family games, puzzles and books plus plenty of space to spread out, large families will be easily entertained.
Outdoor Areas
The rear covered outdoor entertaining area (with gas BBQ & seating for 6) provides the perfect place to enjoy time with friends and family, and overlooks the fully enclosed side & rear yard - perfect for kids. The Double garage (with fold up table tennis table) has internal access to the home as well as direct access to the fully rear yard, and provides parking for 2 cars, with space for another 2 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc, plus a double sink, large walk-through pantry, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The entire home is serviced by a ducted reverse cycle air-conditioner unit.
Bedroom Configuration
This home has 8 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 14 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Single bed, one Tri-bunk and one Single Trundle bed
Bedroom 4: One Tri-bunk
The front Living room has a Queen sofa/divan that is suitable for two adults or children.
Please note: The Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
