Newly renovated beach studio loft on cycle trail

A treetop experience! Set in a beautifully landscaped west coast bush garden. Great fibre and free wifi for streaming. Newly carpeted two storeyed cottage. Perfect for couples or singles and especially cyclists. It is not suitable for elderly, or mobility challenged guests. Access to the upstairs is via a short flight of steep stairs. It also has a typical loft ceiling in the sleeping space, not ideal for tall people. There is undercover cycle storage in the huge carport, a new bathroom/laundry with washer and drier and a shared ground floor storage room with electric drying racks, a steam press and small vertical freezer.
Upstairs is an airy studio loft style space. It sleeps 3 with one double bed and 1 single. A brand new kitchen with double induction hob, microwave, slow cooker, and wok, Or eat out at the great cafe across the street. Seaview glimpses from upstairs. Underbench fridge with access to freezer downstairs. DVD library with portable player. Fern Arch cottage shares its location with Kupe Cottage which sleeps 3. If your group is largeish, just book both cottages. Both cottages are just two minutes walk from beautiful Carters Beach (see photos), and the new Kawatiri Coastal walking and biking trail. Carters Beach is 5 mins drive from downtown Westport and 2 mins from the airport and golf links,

The cleaning fee is a one time charge not a nightly charge. So the longer you stay the cheaper your nightly rate. It covers the cost of laundering your bed bath and kitchen linen, cleaning the equivalent of a small house, and the cost of cleaning products and appliances used.

Charging your electric car using our power is not permitted. It is a safety and insurance issue for us. Chargers are available at both supermarkets.
