This was a great vrbo , well equipped kitchen , beautifully renoed, felt like home . Nice deck and furniture with beautiful views right on Lake Erie. 15 min from Ahmerstburg where our daughter lives. We stayed a month during Christmas and host had a tree set up for us . Neighborhood is quiet and on a clear night we were able to see the stars

Scenic gathering for the extended family.

Clean, modern, spacious property with all you need for a family getaway. Fishing, swimming, paddling, s’mores, and stargazing! Note: Would’ve been even better if the dock had a ladder for our swimmers!

Very nice stay

The cottage was very nice and owner responded to our questions very quickly. Hiking trails and restaurants nearby. Amazing location!! Posting did not state that the loft is being rented out as well. Luckily our neighbours were quiet and respectful.

Great get away!!

The property was beautiful, the inside was so clean and updated, and Tim was always available via phone call or text to answer my numerous questions!! He made sure all information was sent in a timely manner and his emails had lots of information about the property and surrounding activities. Thank you for a wonderful stay Tim!!

Wonderful property!

The property was clean and newly renovated. Furnishings and decorations were tastefully done. What doesn't come through in the property profile is the breathtaking views. You'll feel like you stepped into a picture! And the neighboring houses with their manicured lawns and quirky gardens only add to the charm of the special location.

Wonderful lakefront cottage experience

The property was just as advertised with plenty of space for our group of two couples. It was ideally located to explore the Lake Erie North Shore wineries. The kitchen was well-stocked, which can be an issue with some rentals. Check-in was a breeze, the house was clean and cozy, and we loved sitting on the deck watching the sunrise and sunset. The neighbours were friendly and Tim was a great host.

Lake vacay

House was exceptionally clean with a beautiful view of the lake. Our kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming. The host responded to any questions we had within minutes. We appreciated the great communication. The only thing we wished the house had was access to a washer and dryer.

We visit this place yesterday as it was my brother’s bday. The place is really beautiful, spacious and clean. All the things was provided. I was so easy to reach out to tim ( owner). Overall experience was really amazing!! Just the BBQ wasn't clean..

The house was very comfortable with most of the needed amenities! The kitchen was a bit light on cookware so if you like to cook, you might want to bring an extra frying pan. The linens, towels, shampoo etc were all well stocked and good quality!While the listing does specify that the property has a loft apartment above the garage, it doesn't make it 100% clear that the backyard and all outdoor amenities is shared. And there is no curtain on the back living room window so at night time we kind of had to awkwardly wave hello at the other guests who were sitting on the dock and could see directly into the living room. Luckily, the apartment was only booked for 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed so we had plenty of privacy.Overall, we really enjoyed the trip and the dock and water access are excellent! Our dog had a blast swimming and playing!

Review

Should be clearer on ad that this is just not one house your renting, there is a loft that could be rented out at the same time and you would have to share the backyard. I went online and couldn't see it anywhere. It all worked out in the end though.

70th Birthday gig.

Inside house was super clean , owner was communicating very well , not a fan of sharing property with the unit above garage the folks we shared with were very nice , I explained we were having a party on the Sunday afternoon they were fine , that aspect needs to be better understood online to better accommodate the sharing situation….the yard should be cleaned up overall especially (big garden box ) east side of yard , view of sunset was great , dock was fantastic for kids to jump in the water similar to owner pics on VRBO.
