We had a great stay at the lake cottage! The front room facing the lake was our favourite spot… we spent many hours sitting chatting and enjoying the serene view. The house was well stocked and the location was perfect for wine tasting and experiencing Essex County. A perfect space for an extended family visit.

Great property! I wonderful experience

The property is in a fantastic location and is just beautiful. It was clean and beautifully decorated with all of the amenities. The host was very responsive throughout the process. Loved it and would definitely stay again and again.

Beautiful home on Lake Erie

If you enjoy the water, sunrises and sunsets this is the place for you. The home is clean and cozy. The communications with the owners were easy and timely.

What a wonderful lakeside escape

We all had a wonderful time at Jen’s beautiful lakeside retreat. Everything was very well stocked and clean. We created some beautiful memories in the room with the lakeside views. It was amazing.

Well equipped cottage. Beautiful views of the lake. Lots of great golf courses to play. Enjoyed Kingsville. Great restaurants. Enjoyed Wolfhead Distillery. Would love to return!

Great View and Great Property

Great property with four full bedrooms and a great view of the lake (with an nice cool breeze on the hot days). Just up the road is a nice park where you can play horse shoes or pickleball. Finally, the owner paid attention to all the details a traveler would need.

Amazing space with incredible hosts

The views are incredible. There is lots to do in the area but we cocooned in the house for our visit because it was just so perfectly cozy. Such a unique setting. The hosts are kind, responsive, and welcoming. They have things set up for your comfort and have provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. We cannot wait to book again in the future!

Perfect Place on the Water

Four of us were in the area for a work trip and opted to find a cottage to rent rather than stay in a hotel, and this place was perfect. It was great to come back at the end of the day and be right on the water. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need, and Jen was super responsive to questions. I'd love to go back when I'm not working to be able to explore the area more!

Wonderful stay!

Our family of 4, including our 2 college age children had a wonderful time at this great house on Lake Erie. The views are beautiful, and everything is close by or a short drive. Holiday Beach wildlife area is very close and a great place for birdwatching, and there are gorgeous wineries a short drive away, including Sprucewood Shores, and Viewpointe Estate. The home was perfect, beds are comfortable, everything is labeled and the owners have taken care to think of everything. We had a fire in the fire pit, played Scrabble in the sunroom, and sat on the expensive deck, watching the waves of Lake Erie.

Perfect lakeside retreat

Everything was wonderful and very comfortable, as advertised. Location ideal for winery tour during our stay. Host Jen was readily available if needed, but all was provided and taken care of beforehand...welcome basket was a nice touch...thanks! Highly recommend, will definitely return...beautiful sunrises and sunsets:)

Fabulous weekend with out of town family

Arrived on a stormy Friday afternoon that turned into a wonderful weekend. This lovely cottage was perfect for our family reunion. We spent hours walking the conservation areas close by. Love the deck, perfect location for sun and out of the wind. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything we needed. A lovely place to create great memories.

Highly Recommend! We had an amazing stay!

Great Place for a Vacay!

Jen is such a lovely host! She goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. The cottage is in a very friendly neighbourhood and there is lots to see and do in the area. Sunsets are beautiful!! We all enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future. Thank you so much!
