Peaceful Landing

At Peaceful Landing you will find a large, open concept home that will provide a place of rest and refuge for you and your family/friends. The cottage is located on Grandview Lake which is a small lake that offers beautiful swimming and paddling in the clear waters. This home is well equipped for a vacation any time of the year, in the cooler months the fireplace provides a warm and cozy atmosphere. At Peaceful Landing, you will be introduced to the slow, relaxing pace of cottage life and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Please note, the dock is seasonal and therefore it is not in the water from Thanksgiving weekend until the May long weekend.

WOW!!! What an incredible cottage and location. We had an amazing Family getaway. Just what we all needed. Peaceful Landing is the perfect name for this wonderful place. All of the amenities one could ask for. The kitchen has everything you need and more and water activities are well taken care of with all the essentials. All expectations were exceeded.

Wonderful cottage

Peaceful Landing is a beautiful, wonderfully appointed property. The photos don't do it justice. It's even lovelier in person! It had everything we could have wanted and more. Beautiful views, calm lake, gourmet kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms and a wonderful open concept living space, including a cozy screened in porch for our family. The host/owner Susan was easy to reach for all my many questions, and very accommodating. We loved staying at Peaceful Landing.

A Lovely Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Landing. The property is a rare gem and we felt extremely well looked after. Susan provided lots of info prior to our check-in so we knew exactly what to expect and was easy to talk to with any questions or concerns. The accommodation is as advertised - both peaceful and well thought out for guests - right down to small things like towels provided for both inside and out. The kitchen is super well stocked with anything you might need and the living spaces are nicely appointed for families to spend time together without feeling overcrowded. The dock area is beautifully laid out and our kids enjoyed swimming and paddleboarding. Even on a long weekend, the lake was not too overwhelmed by power boats or sea-doos. We would feel very fortunate to be able to book this place again as it worked out perfectly for our family (ranging in age from 15 to 86). Thank you Susan!

Great cottage for a family getaway

Our family had an amazing time at this beautiful cottage! The cottage is very comfortable, cozy, clean and quiet. It was great to have a dishwasher and extra space for the kids to play. Communication with our host Susan was easy, fast and reliable. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the paddle boat and floating dock. All in all, we were very happy with our choice and would definitely consider renting this cottage again.

Great, Peaceful Cottage

We had a fantastic time at this cottage. Open concept main level was great for entertaining. The entire place was spotless and the lake was calm and quiet. No downsides to this cottage as the owner was easy to talk to regarding any inquires.

Wonderful Group Getaway

Spent 3 nights with a group of 10. The property and cottage were beautiful and more than we could have asked for. Very spacious and clean. Great main area and kitchen for large groups to enjoy meals and socializing. Fire pit was enjoyed at night by all, the lake was small and quite great for paddleboarding and kayaking. Wonderful dock for sunbathing and taking in the beautiful view! The cottage was equipped with more than one could need. Susan was a great host and quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Definitely a great place to escape to for some much needed rest and relaxation. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience

Our group of 8 had an amazing week at Peaceful Landing. The cottage is wonderful. It has everything that's in a modern home yet it still feels like a cottage. Outside there is a fantastic dock - great for swimming from and lazing on - and lots of equipment for spending time on the water. Only downside was some traffic noise from the nearby regional road. Susan was a great host as well. She provides everything you could need and she responded very quickly to any question we had. Thanks for a fantastic week, Susan!

Beautiful Getaway!

We cannot not say enough about this cottage. The inside is gorgeous, roomy, clean, and well-equipped. The outside is glorious - great firepit, lovely dock, and the view is stunning. Just an all-around great family trip, and the owner Susan is a delight to communicate with. 5 stars - we'll be back next year!

Wonderful cottage

The cottage is clean, new and well equipped. Great fireplace etc. Beautiful small lake for kayak, canoe, but not big enough for powered boat.

Loved it.

Beautiful property on the lake. Was able to walk out for icefishing! 35 minutes to ski hill. Large enough to fit 9 people comfortably with extra play space for the kids. Pack your own groceries as there is very little options in Baysville. :) The coattage is beautiful inside, exactly as shown in the pictures and on a very quite street. Enjoyed the self-checkin and was contacted the same day by the owner to ensure all was well. Overall good service and beautiful, large (but feels cozy) property.
