By The Bay Beach House is located in the heart of Birch Bay. Just one street up from the beach + ocean (a 1-2 minute walk!) with multiple public beach access points.
There is a salt water canal right behind the house that is fed and fluctuates with the ocean. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private, upper front porch out front. Relax + hang-out in the hot tub, play yard games. Walking distance to everything! and a 30 second walk to the infamous "C shop! "
Equipped with everything you need to make your stay easy, fun and relaxed.

Great space and location!

We really enjoyed our stay - it’s a great space with an open living area, kitchen, backyard (evening sun), hot tub, fully stocked with essentials and more. Perfect location as the beach is only a block away. Host was responsive and accommodating. We would return!

NYE Girls Trip

We stayed over NYE and the location, property and all the amenities were exactly as listed including the hot tub! Only a short 2 minute walk to the beach, great location. Great Getaway!

We had a great stay at the cottage - walks on the beach, seashell hunting and then warming up in the hot tub! The house was clean and exactly as described. Lots of games, toys and activities for the kiddos so the parents could relax and read a book! Would definitely come back!

Comfortable and “homey” fully equipped house near the ocean

We loved this house as it was exactly as advertised with a spacious equipped kitchen and open area for being together. Comfy beds, great hot tub, and lovely atmosphere. Close to the ocean. Our whole group of 7 friends said we would come again.

Hidden Gem

What a delightful stay we had. The house was charmingly decorated, as well as, spotless. The creek was pretty and location is close to the beach but very quiet. Even the neighbours friendly! The owner was helpful and available. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Grt clean space close to water

House was cute and clean, as looked as advertised. Michele was a grt host to deal with - very responsive. Nice little touches like the welcome basket. Location is quiet but close enough to some good hikes and breweries. Would definitely recommend.

Good feedback from my crew.

Our company used the property for a few days to provide our out of town technicians with lodging. Their crew manager told me their stay was great and they were very comfortable. They hope to have the same property again in a few months.

Beautiful and Super Clean

This property is exceptional. The house is exactly as advertised and is extremely clean. All the amenities are in beautiful condition— we used the hot tub every day and it was -10 Celsius with snow on the ground! I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to spend a week in a quiet corner of the Pacific Northwest.

Home away from home!

Pictures do not do this home justice, it is warm, comfortable and inviting. Location was perfect, close to everything you need, quiet & safe, the beds are great, kitchen is fully stocked. Tons of books to read, movies to watch, hot tub to enjoy lots to space for everyone.This was our first Christmas away from home, family and snow so we weren't sure how we would feel. When we walked in and saw the house decorated even a TREE we knew that they had gone the extra mile for us and it set the tone for a wonderful holiday!We highly recommend this VRBO and would most certainly go back when in the area again.

Beautiful home

This home was a perfect stay for Thanksgiving weekend, only a block to the beach! The king bed upstairs is so comfy! Things I would keep in mind is back door lock is very difficult to work & better directions for Apple TV. Other than that we would most def rent again! Michelle is an awesome communicator as well!
