Panoramic Ocean View Escape

Take your breath away as you arrive at our newly updated Ocean Veiw Escape! Enjoy undisrupted, sweeping ocean and adjacent island views as soon as you pull into our 5 acres hobby farm. Featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 renovated baths, a fully equipped kitchen and large deck, you'll be so relax you won't want to go anywhere...unless it's to the beach! Launching your kayak, SUP or just a nice dip is only 5 mins walk. If you don't mind a drive there are also many provincial parks nearby for hiking.
The space
Beautiful updated “A” frame guest house on our 5 acres hobby farm.
Guests have the whole guest house to themselves. It is separate and completely private to itself with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Also fully equipped kitchen and Spacious loft space to take in the spectacular view!
Guest access
Guest have access to the guest house and surrounding areas. From service road to the green gate behind. Please stay out of the trees across from the service road in-front of fire pit area as it belongs to the neighbors . Thank You
Other things to note;
We are on well water. Some guests may not prefer the taste, but it is completely safe for drinking. We do provide some bottled water for guests upon arrival.
Cell phone reception is sketchy out here so be sure you check directions. Enabling wifi calling can be helpful.
We do have animals on our side of the property including Roosters and goats. Guests may here some crowing or baahing from the guest house. ☺️

Second time staying here and it was even better than our first. We absolutely love it and it’s our go to now for all our trips to Vancouver Island. Beautiful view, gorgeous house, quiet location, immaculately clean, and so welcoming. Kitty goes above and beyond!

Our experience was fantastic. Very easy from check in to check out and a beautiful location. No concerns or notes. There’s no (cooling) air conditioner (I believe there is heat) so in the hottest months just something to be aware of if you care; though we were there when it was quite hot for the area and it was fine.

Lovely home with unbeatable views and so so quiet! Everything inside the home is in solid working order, including a well outfitted kitchen. Beds and furniture are comfy. Occasional visits from the horses and goats are a delight. This place is well situated with quick access up to Nanaimo and just 90 minutes to Victoria. Highly recommend!!!

Great spot for our family

We loved our stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The views are amazing! Kitty is an excellent host. We really enjoyed being in a more rural setting, loved getting to see the farm animals, spent hours at the neighborhood beach (make note of low tide times!). We were able to explore Victoria, Campbell River, Ucluelet and Tofino, as well as nearby Nanaimo and Ladysmith. We had a fantastic trip, can’t wait to return!

Our grandkids enjoyed seeing the goats and horses. Host was very accommodating. Area is quiet and scenic. House is spotless. Would definitely come again.

Wonderful, peaceful and clean

We had a wonderful stay, the home is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The view is wonderful, we especially enjoyed seeing horses in the early morning hours. My children (aged 2.5 and 5) really enjoyed all the games/books and supplies provided for kids, very nice touch. Highly welcome, and we will be back. Kitty was very responsive to my messages, helpful and kind.

family getaway

We were very pleased with the home when we arrived. Very clean and bright, and even better than the pictures showed. Kitty left a lovely assortment of items we could use for our breakfast the next day and was quick to answer any questions. There was even a good supply of filtered water for drinking since the well water had a slight taste. ( Although it was perfectly okay to drink). Relaxing and peaceful few days.

Loved it!!

We were thrilled to see such a beautifully appointed home for our stay! Kitty had put things in the fridge for our breakfasts as well as coffee and a variety of tea, and a basket of fruits and cereal. All of which was so appreciated. The views are stunning! Thank you to the landlady and landlord!!!

Paradise with Wonderful Hosts

Kitty and Roshan were wonderful and very responsive hosts. As other guests have mentioned, the pictures cannot fully capture the magic of the rental home and grounds. We’ve been staying at rentals for nearly 2 decades, for Summer vacations, and we’ve devoted our lives to running our own (small) quality-focused hospitality business in a busy city. Our stay was just what we needed to relax and recharge— and we feel so fortunate to have been able to stay.

Such an amazing space, location and fab hosts

If you’re looking for a quiet trip away with the sound of the sea and farms all around, this is perfect. Kitty thought of everything, from toiletries and laundry to fresh eggs from her farm and breakfast necessities. The decor is beautiful and the view from the rooms was fantastic. Look forward to going back. Thank you!

Early Spring Break

This is a charming A-frame cottage, immaculately furnished and equipped, with an amazing view out over islands in the Georgia Strait - even a pod of orcas to greet you if, like us, you are lucky! Kitty, the owner, is a delightful person, so welcoming and helpful about everything. We had three marvellous weeks here in March in spite of rather damp weather at times. From Ontario, we found this a perfect getaway for an early Spring break without frost or snow. Plus, Our granddaughter enjoyed meeting the goats and chickens! Would certainly return if ever we got the chance - highly recommended.

Perfect Peaceful Vacation Home

The guest house is completely private and provides a vacation home away from home. Complete with more than the comforts of home, with beautiful ocean view, large deck with BBQ, tons of outdoor space and a very large guest house with soft extremely comfortable beds and full kitchen with guest basket and enough in the fridge to get you going. The setting and location are perfect fir a quiet peaceful place to enjoy and sleep well. It is a Short walk to a quaint public beach access. The hosts are very easy to reach and extremely nice to interact with. Their guest house is perfectly clean and nicely set up to enjoy!!

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was spotlessly clean and the host provided so many wonderful, thoughtful extras - breakfast supplies including their own farm fresh eggs, milk, juice cereal and much more! A very well stocked kitchen and everything appears to be brand new. It is an easy walk or drive to many wonderful beaches. If we are in the area again, we will definitely book here. We loved it
