The Yough Guest House is a perfect accommodation for a small group looking to take in all of the beauty and adventure Ohiopyle has to offer. One of the very few rental properties right in town, this newly updated and spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house is located on a corner lot with a large yard that is perfect for fun and games. Not to mention, it is walking distance to all rafting outfitters, bike rentals, the Youghiogheny River, the GAP Trail, shops, and every bar and restaurant in town! You can enjoy a relaxing morning cup of coffee on the back deck as you listen to the rushing water of Ohiopyle Falls, or take a much needed dip in the hot tub after a long day of hiking in the state park. Whether you're hiking, biking, or paddling, we are certain that no matter how you occupy your time in Ohiopyle the Yough Guest House offers the perfect accommodations for your stay.

Great location, lots of room, just need some minor upgrades

pro: Centrally located, you can walk to everything in Ohiopyle. Large rooms, well appointed downstairs, parking space, covered back porch, multiple tvs, hot tub in fine order, fire pit, clean, electronic lock makes it easy to check in; staying here gets you 10% discount with Whitewatee Outfitters & a few other local businesses. Con: carpeted stairs with no railing on one side means I wouldn’t recommend for toddlers or folks with mobility problems. upstairs needs more furniture. 2 of the bedrooms have 1 tiny nightstands & nothing else except the bed. A few Craigslist acquisitions of furniture would help— even wooden chairs to put luggage on. Also needs extra pillows & a few coat hangers. One bed room’s door is broken & doesn’t close, much less lock. We understand this has previously been used as outdoor guide housing & it shows. ; )

Very Comfortable - We had a blast

I cannot dream up a complaint. We had so much fun. Felt comfy, just like being at home. We will definitely be coming back.

Great location for fun summer getaway.

My family of five along with my in-laws rented the home for three days in July. The location was perfect for my three active young adults and for their grandparents. We were just blocks from the river walk, a paved bike trail that runs from Washington DC. We went white water rafting, hiked to a trail that overlooks Ohiopyke, visited waterfalls, and played basketball in the park next door. I wish we could have stayed longer. My only complaint was that the property manager did not send details regarding how to check out and the person answering the phone when I called was unpleasant and hung up the call before it was complete. If the property management had been more professional, this would have been a five star rating.

Great Weekend House

House was perfect for what we wanted - a clean house for an adventure weekend. Nice deck with a view. Deck is partially covered which was nice as it rained a little but we were still able to grill and eat on the deck. Nothing is more than a two block walk away. Very convenient.

Great location and space

Great location within walking distance to the restaurants, natural water slides, and hiking trails. The back porch was very relaxing and so was the hot tub after a long day of hiking. I did have a few questions before we arrived and the staff was very helpful both over the phone and via email. I would highly recommend this house to my friends and family!

Our stay at Yough Guest house for our 40th Anniversary May 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay. Just a couple of issues, we were able to tend to 1) bird droppings on the front and on the back deck under the kitchen window. 2) the hot tub area still had quite a few fall leaves surrounding the inside area (we were visiting in the Spring). 3) the return vent on the floor behind the couch, in the living room had quite a bit of dog fur/dust up against it. All three issues we were able to rectify. We totally enjoyed our visit and would recommend to our family and friends.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was ok. The rooms need to be updated. There where tons of ladybugs everywhere witch wasnt a pleasant sight also some fly’s. It was a nice gesture to leave us the stuff we need to make s’mores but there was no fire pit...the hot tub was great ! There weren’t any hangers in the closets and only one garbage bag in the kitchen so I had to go buy my own I’d say it was definitely not worth $340 a night
