Great two bedrooms and pull-out sofa, so all five of our party had good bedrooms and living/dining rooms. Host family were superbly courteous.

A fantastic spot

We loved this house. The location was perfect. We absolutely adored Sharon and Smitty. We had everything we needed. The house was spotless and had the small things that I appreciate. We would definitely stay here again.

Labor Day Weekend

Excellent for our family of five! Sharon was kind and accommodating. The rental had everything we needed to cook meals. The beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed coffee on the gorgeous patio each morning. We walked to Garden of the Gods one day and the Manitou Springs art festival another.

Lovely place and outstanding hosts

Perfect setting for exploring Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and surrounding areas. House was perfect, and hosts made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

This is the nicest, cleanest place we have ever stayed in! It is very comfortable and cozy and close to downtown restaurants, etc. Hosts are top notch! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend this place!

Relaxing and centrally located

We had an amazing time during our stay. Sharon and Smitty were great hosts. Sharon offered lots of suggestions for restaurants and activities and we loved them all. The neighbors are very friendly as well. Wonderful stay!

Amazing vacation home in Manitou Springs

My family stayed at this home over a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The home is wonderful and welcoming. It is surrounded by gorgeous views of the mountains and Pikes Peak, and everything is set up to ensure an easy and comfortable visit. The kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets, and there are many board games for a cozy evening or rainy day activity. The owners of the home are simply wonderful and when we left the home, we felt that we had made new friends who truly cared about our experience and visit. I would absolutely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area!

Home away from home

Our stay was wonderful. The hosts were super accommodating and check in was easy. We loved the spacious living area with the big windows and view of the surrounding mountains. We especially loved the fireplace and the comfortable bed. It really felt like home away from home!

Made our trip

I highly recommend this house. It was very clean, comfortable in every way, peaceful, quiet location yet close to everything. Sharon our host was available and even gave us walking instructions on where to go and what to see. She is a plethora of knowledge about the area. There are comfortable lounging locations inside and out on the lovely patios. I cannot think of anything we lacked during our stay. Thank you Sharon for ensuring your guests are well cared for!

Lovely Property that exceeded our expectations!

This is a beautiful home that is well appointed with all the amenities you will need. We truly felt like we were staying in our home away from home. The owners/hosts are incredibly friendly and provided the best communications with us during our entire stay. The location is perfect to visit the Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Very nice home and Hosts in a great location

Everything was as advertised with 17 Mayfair including the attentive and helpful communication with our Hosts. Their knowledge of the area helped us quite a bit. The accessibility of our hosts was second to none in my travel experiences--extremely accessible and helpful. The house itself is really nice--very spacious with many well appointed areas for hanging out and talking/eating/chilling. The area is very quite even though it is close to things to do. I would definitely stay here again in a future Manitou Springs stay!

Simply Perfect

The owners were very nice and communicated with us very well, providing welcomed, unsolicited suggestions and recommendations during our stay. The property was flawless and was found to be exactly as advertised. The evenings were peaceful and quiet. On a few of the mornings we watched momma Mule Deer and her new fawn nibbling at the vegetation on the property. All in all - a great, relaxing vacation. We will be back.

Fantastic House w/Great Location

My wife and I wanted to just get out of the Texas heat for a bit. Booked this house and we could not have been happier with our choice. Sharon and Smitty are great host with tons of recommendations for things to do or see. The house is one of the best appointed houses we have stayed in. Every little detail is taken care of. Lots of great amenities for bath, kitchen etc. There is no A/C however there is an evap cooler, which was more than fine. It was over 90 when we were there and the evap worked great! This house is close to pretty much everything. Downtown Manitou, Pikes Peak, Garden of Gods, Cliff Dwellings, Royal Gorge (1hr) Colorado Springs, Biltmore, on and on.... Bonus you have a family of deer that visit pretty much everyday! We will be back for sure.

A real gem!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this property and the hosts. My family was in Colorado over spring break so that my soon could tour some universities, and we decided to spend part of that time in Colorado Springs. This house is convenient to everything, so it made a great home base. Sharon is an exceptional communicator -- probably the best I have come across, and she was helpful and genuine before, during, and after the stay -- she and her son both have many suggestions for restaurants, hikes, etc. The house itself is gorgeous -- one of those properties that makes you think "you know, if I owned this, I don't think I'd rent it out...". Amazing views of Pikes Peak from the living room and patio, plenty of space for everyone, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds - just a fantastic space overall. It has the feel of a house that is actually lived in between rentals, meaning it is well-equipped -- not minimally equipped and sterile like so many rentals. This place would be particularly ideal for two couples traveling together. Anyway, I give the house, and the hosts, my highest recommendation!!
