Nestle Inn- Meredith Lodging

You’ll enjoy stunning views of surf and iconic Proposal Rock when you stay in Nestle Inn, an oceanfront cottage situated on the best spot on the beach in lovely Neskowin. This classic home is lined in wood with a gorgeous rock fireplace for an authentic, cozy Oregon stay at the beach. The beamed, vaulted living room has floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, framing the spectacular view, and lots of comfortable seating to enjoy conversation with your guests, whether you are watching morning sun glint off Proposal Rock or marveling at a vivid sunset silhouetting the rock’s rugged features. A large outdoor deck overlooks the beach; you are steps from the sand and miles of beach-walking.

Though the Hawk Creek Café is an easy walk from Nestle Inn, you’ll be tempted to stay and cook with your guests in the beautifully equipped kitchen, with its large center island/breakfast bar, Jenn-Air grill and two wall ovens. There’s seating for six at the dining table, and six seats at the island. Three bedrooms with ocean views, a king, queen and bunk room will let you add an extra guest or two to your stay. They can join you in the garage game room for ping-pong and foosball.

Stroll the neighborhood of charming homes decked with flowers, stop for an ice cream at the Village Scoop, play a round of golf, or shop for goodies at the Neskowin Trading Post. Hop in your car and enjoy the delights of Lincoln City or Pacific City, less than 20 minutes away. You’ll be glad to return to your perfect ocean spot at the end of the day, just in time for the sunset!

What a view! We loved the location of this house! Amazing view of the ocean and Proposal Rock and less than 5 minute walk to “town” where we got coffee, ice cream, goodies daily. We are already planning our next trip!

Perfect Views and Privacy

The house is very clean and well-equipped for most any kind of cooking. With the exception of the bathrooms, every room has a beautiful view. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of comfortable seating both in the living room and out on the deck. Gorgeous views, quiet location, good beach access--what more could you want?

Two oldsters and adult daughter and her husband. One story worked great for the oldsters. Younger folks got to beach walk and forest walk. The PERFECT get away

All in all it was a perfect place for my family and I to stay. I cannot stress how amazing this location was. A quiet beach you have to yourself 75% of the time and it’s RIGHT in front of proposal rock. We’ll be back no doubt! Thanks so much <3

Location is everything!

We've stayed in many beachfront houses, and you simply cannot beat this location. The house itself is good - huge kitchen and the bunk room is very helpful for a group - although it could use way more lighting in the bedrooms and decent pots/pans. But really, you stay here for the views and access. All the stars!

The best part was watching the waves during sunset and beyond from the cozy living room. The place was comfortable and serene. Would come again. One thing: the hose outside was not working. Would be needed to def sand off.

We loved the property and location!

The most beautiful beach house, we loved how it is located right in front of the proposal rock. Stunning views, alot of options available to have a good time with family. Loved the ping pong table and board games. We have a slight ants issue in the kitchen, management did ask us if they can come to fix it but we did not ask them to come as we had a newborn with us and wanted to avoid visitors during our stay.

Peaceful

We had a much needed quiet and peaceful few days at the ocean. The view could not be better. The only negative thing I could say is the bunk room needed more light, but that didn't take away from the experience. Thank You.

This is the perfect size for the four of us adults.

So beautiful. We will be back next year. One minor problem: The door code did not work. Instant access to the property manager by phone gave us access to the key box and we got in.

Wow !

This property is a true beach house! Exactly what we were looking for. The decor is older but so many things about this house make it superb! Truly on the beach, the outdoor space with Adirondack chairs make it possible to enjoy your surroundings without seeing anyone else. People on the beach are below the house so it still feels private. Showers and beds are terrific. Perfect single floor layout for a 1 year old! All the necessary equipment for a crab boil! Amazingly easy and comfy. Weather was extraordinarily perfect! We felt so lucky to be there!

Fabulous view, large deck, easy beach access

Amazing view from inside or out. The house is spacious, well stocked large kitchen, large deck great for Bbq/sunbathing/coffee-beer on the deck. The main bedroom bed was comfortable. Large parking area, extras stored in garage. Easy beach access just behind the house, great for taking a bunch of kids/supplies to the beach. I gave it 1 star because of the cleaning. The tub was full of scum, had to clean it myself & got a refund for cleaning fee. Made me wonder what else wasn't cleaned. Not to covid etc. standards as noted in the listing.

Home was great, management was hard

The home was beautiful and a great location. I put the rating mainly to draw attention for other renters to be well aware of a rule. We were at the coast because some of our friends were visitng and two of them got engaged on the beach. There were 12 of us and we went into the home to celebrate when we recieved a knock on the door a short time later. We were told there were too many in the home and only 8 can be there. We immediately complied as we didn't understand that rule and thought it referred to just how many are sleeping there. The website says nothing about the number in the house at all times in the description. Apparently there are a few signs in the home that we honestly did not see until after we had a knock on the door. The management apparently sent a text also that went to a land line of mine so I never saw it. Justice was served quickly with a $250 dollar fine. I asked where the clause was in the contract since I didn't see it and it took the management person several minutes to find it also. I acknowledge my error though it was not on purpose for had I known from the beginning, we would never had all entered into the house. I am asking the owner to please put the limitations of the home in large print in the description of the home and potentially on the door entering into the house so someone else doesn't make a mistake like I did. I apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused, but it was not intentional.
