The fenced backyard offers an enclosed pool that is available year-round and a space for your four-legged family members to enjoy. The bottom floor hosts a rec room with a pool table and full-sized kitchen, a space perfect for spending time together. Enjoy views from the many decks including the nearby Wright Brothers National Monument. This home is right in the middle of the action in the Outer Banks while sitting within a short walking distance of the Atlantic Ocean.

Accommodations were good. Need to fix jets in hot tub and ac on bottom level not cooling very well. Other than that stay was great.

Family Time

The house is very spacious and we had enough rooms for 14 of us. The elevator is a big plus. There are enough dishwashers and refrigerators.

Rooms are spacious...could really be more like 14 bedrooms....beds were comfy...indoor outdoor pool awesome...if anything on the downside..needed baking pans and spatulas..but we worked around it...renting again next year!

Great vacation!!

My family is originally from Wanchese and we were there for a funeral and made it a vacation!! We love this house and the price was incredible. I felt very blessed to have found this property at such a reasonable price!!! Loved it!!

Great Stay in Kill Devils Hills

We had a wonderful time in the pool and at the beach. The house was clean and ready although we arrived early the RE office got us in right away. Each room was comfortable and there was enough space for everyone. Plenty to do nearby. Fun was had by all!

My husband and I were getting married in OBX and we had all our immediate family from many states to join us for the week. Everyone loved the house. It was very spacious and super clean. There was a couple of maintenance issues that we reported but it did not hinder our stay. Contact with realty agency thru text was easy and fast response. Thank you for letting us stay at your home and making many beautiful memories together.

Exceptional Find!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We often spend Thanksgiving at the beach as a big family. This house accommodated our large, extended family better than any other property. Every bedroom, in addition to being spacious, had its own bathroom and offered opportunities for privacy in addition to other great times when everyone could be together. The main floor that includes the kitchen had such a huge dining table, with the addition of several other smaller tables, plus those on the deck, that we could all eat meals together. The rental price of the property was another bonus for how awesome this house is. This would definitely be our first choice to rent again.

Family Reunion

This house needs maintenance. One first floor bedroom was unusable due to water leaking out of wall and soaked carpeting and black mold on the wall behind the bed. Plumber was unable to fix problem during our visit. Pool table pockets are all coming off, many screens are missing from windows, some light bulbs out or missing in house and pool enclosure, gate latches need work, and backyard fencing has green mold on it. While we were there an electrician had to come in to replace a GFSI outlet in the kitchen so that we could use the four outlets that weren't working. This is a large house and great for large families, but it needs maintenance and "sprucing up".

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I reserved “Glad Tidings” less than 60 days prior to our arrival with trepidation. Five adults. Six kids ages 8 through 14. Huge house, 10 master bedrooms, a common room on each floor. I was afraid we wouldn’t see each other! Our first rental through Beach Realty was a gem. House was ready before check-in time and clean! Everything in the house functioned properly. Had both sunrise over the ocean and sunset views. Nicely manicured yard. Pool and hot tub were amazing. I had concerns the online pictures over-sold the place but was very pleased with their accuracy. Only tip I have for future renters is bring your own skillet!

Amazing House - Fantastic location.

Amazing property. The pool and hot tub were perfect, the lawn is perfectly grassy, the house is absolutely gigantic with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and feel comfortable. The air conditioning works really well and you can keep the house as cool as you like. Large number of decks provide great private and semi-private options to just sit outside and read. Beach access is not too difficult just up the road and it's a very nice beach. Not too crowded with lifeguards and freshwater showers. If you are looking for a house that can accommodate large group this is the one. My only criticisms were that there are just not enough trash cans in the house when we got there. There is now a 42 gallon large trash container and a very nice step to open trash can in the main kitchen on the third floor. There's also now a full propane container in one of the two grills. Both worked great but I did have to get a filled container for one of them. That said those were minor inconveniences and I would definitely give the property five stars and stay here again.

Seriously disappointing

Reviewer Comments: Upon entering, we immediately noticed mold in almost every vent, there was food and hair on the floors especially under furniture. We tried to get in touch with the realty company numerous times with no reply over 24 hours. Maintenance and house keeping finally came out on our second day, and just WALKED RIGHT IN. we had 2 dogs and 3 kids under 3 years old. The furniture was dirty, as well as the flooring and carpets. The house needs a serious deep clean and upgrades. Lights not working. Broken furniture. Broken windows. The bean bags to the corn hole boards were held together with bandaids and packing tape. The sliding glass doors in the pool house didn’t work. The hot tub was green, the pool house itself was filthy. The home lacked trash cans, so we had to take every bag of trash to the dumpster. The pool table pockets were falling off. The pool sticks did not have points at the end. The refrigerators did not have shelves or shelves in the doors. Cabinet doors and shelves were broken. The top floor master bath did not have a toilet paper holder and the carpet tacks are popping up in front of the bath tub. The attic doors in top master and top sitting area are open construction sites and need to be locked off. The yard was basically dirt and it rained the whole time so it was a mud puddle. The landscaping company came with no notice and opened up an entire section of the fence when we had our dogs outside. This entire property was a disappointment. I would not recommend this home to anyone with small children, as their hands, knees and feet were absolutely filthy from the floors. The realty company reached out for a list of items that were broken etc, on day 2, THEY STILL HAVE NOT REPLIED. Ten thousand dollars for off season. I will never go back and will advise all friends to not believe pictures for the rentals with this company.

So close to wonderful...

Reviewer Comments: I have no complaints about the property itself - everything was available and comfortable. Kitchen was remarkably well stocked for a rental. Beds were comfy, pool and hot tub were a respite from the sea nettles. However, we reported a handful of small issues on our first day (clogged drains, issues with the gas grill) that never got resolved. That degree of poor service is completely unacceptable.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: booked this big house for a first time family reunion. upon check in--went around to bedrooms to try to place family members in best room for them. Noticed that top panel of only dryer was sitting on top of the dryer and a wet towel was inside dryer. turned on water in several showers and found that water would not drain. Many screens on bottom floor windows were slashed and blowing in the breeze. Went outside to covered pool. Noticed that it was like a greenhouse inside. Opened the few door panels that would open--many would not-they were corroded and would't open. Also, there was an electrical box that would have opened some panels on top- a key was needed and there was duct tape across the opening for the key. Called the rental company about the issues noted. was told that somebody would be notified about the dryer and the screens and pool issue was because of use. Family member plunged the showers to make them drain. An appliance tech came Tues and said the dryer couldn't be fixed. The dryer was finally replaced on Thursday afternoon. We had up to 22 people that needed to do laundry for 5 days. Also one of the dishwashers did not clean or drain properly.Yet-I was contacted on way home that a bathroom door was damaged.Needless to say--what is described in the details and how the property is displayed in pictures is VERY MISLEADING We expected and paid for a luxury property--got an average house that is big with issues

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation in OBX due to the great location and amenities of this home - everything from a pool, hot tub, pool table, corn hole, foosball, ice maker, 3 refrigerators, 3 dishwashers, grills, 10 huge bedrooms, dog friendly with fence, quick walk to beach access, great location to sightseeing points of interest and delicious restaurants, plenty of parking and tons of space and sitting areas, great management response to questions, and an elevator for our 90 year old mom to come enjoy the fun. Great family memories to last a lifetime.
