Modern Country Homestead with breathtaking rural views
AroonaLea is a modern homestead with a touch of country charm. It is a haven of peace, privacy and luxury with breathtaking pastoral views to forested hills.
You will have the 30 acre property to yourselves to explore and enjoy.
The homestead, which is fully air conditioned, has a pool, firepit and park like grounds with a BBQ/picnic area by a flowing river at the end of the paddock. It is situated less than 15 minutes drive to Mudgee on the Sydney side of town, close to some of Mudgee’s finest wineries.
The homestead has 2 separate living areas. The main living, dining and kitchen area has a cathedral ceiling with high windows at each end offering views of nearby hilltops on both sides of the house.
AroonaLea comfortably sleeps 16 in six king rooms (3 with ensuite), and a share room which sleeps 4 (3 in king single beds and one in a single loft bed). Every room in the house boasts spectacular rural and garden views.
A large fully equipped kitchen with plenty of serving ware, crockery, cutlery, glassware, large pots, electric frypan, rice cookers, slow cooker, 2 full size fridges, along with BBQ and both indoor and outdoor dining comfortably seating 16, makes the house ideal for entertaining large family or friend groups. There is separate crockery, cutlery and acrylic glasses to take for BBQs or picnics by the river.
2 coffee machines, 2 kettles, 2 coffee plungers and 2 four slice toasters makes cooking breakfast for 16 a breeze. A generous supply of coffee pods and a good selection of tea is provided.
Luxury bed linen (including electric blankets), pillows, towels, pool towels and toiletries are provided. Each bathroom has a hairdryer.
There is a selection of both indoor and outdoor games, including a 1000 piece poker set, and a large selection of DVD’s.
Free Wi-fi.
While we love pets, AroonaLea is a pet free zone (as pets are not allowed in the house, this is for the safety of your pet).
Please note in our terms and conditions of stay that there are security cameras on the property .

It was a perfect stay for our family. Everyone had a wonderful time, plenty of room, quality facilities, the most picturesque country setting for our family gathering.

This was an exceptional property. The host was so easy to deal with and made us feel completely comfortable. The house was gorgeous and we felt in awe when we walked in. The house had so many special touches, they really have thought of everything for the perfect stay. I can’t speak highly enough of this beautiful place, not to mention those beautiful mountain views.

Everything was fantastic - could not fault anything. The house was lovely, lots of room for an extended family, beautiful view, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, air con throughout, fluffy blankets for staying warm outside. Great pool and creek a short stroll from the house. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

We stayed for 5 nights and had an amazing experience. The house was extremely clean, very well organised, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The views were absolutely stunning and made our stay even more special. The host was super nice, very responsive, and easy to communicate with. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Can’t fault our stay at Aroonalea - ample space for our big family, throughly stocked kitchen, all rooms were beautifully styled yet comfortable and gorgeous country views.Thank you Annie for your very thoughtful and generous hospitality.

GReat experience and beautful location
House was awesome and perfect for our large group. The host was very responsive and lovely. We will definitely be staying there again!

Best home stay holiday yet
We had a great time at the property, the place is excellent. Given we had rain and temps of between 5-14 deg all weekend it was still a great warm place to come back to.

Great family weekend. Could not ask for more at this gorgeous property. Annie was great from the moment I booked. We had a party of 13 staying here and it is so spacious inside and out. Everything was immaculate. Would definately stay again. Thanks Annie.

Perfect family weekend away
Absolutely stunning property, beautifully presented. We celebrated my father in laws 80th birthday and we had an absolute ball. We just wished we could have stayed longer!

Weekend getaway
Planned this trip for my dads 60th with 9 adults and 7 kids and there was plenty of room for us all.
The house has everything you would need and plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore outside.
Could not fault this trip

Perfect Piece of Paradise

We loved our stay, the house is very well equipped. Everything has been thoughtfully done. Accommodated our extended family perfectly. Location is stunning & the creek at the bottom of the property is perfect for a picnic.Overall perfect!
