Perfect location for a oceanic holiday - across the road from the beach and less than 100m to the specialty shops of Sawtell. Whether you want to swim, browse the boutiques, go to a formal restaurant for dinner or relax in one of the many cafes or under the shady fig trees this unit is close by.

Sand & Sea 5 is a naturally cool two bedroom upstairs unit. Being renovated, it contains open plan living leading out to the balcony overlooking the trees and surf club.

The two bedrooms sleep five with a queen in the main and trio bunk in the second bedroom. Shared complex laundry. Garage for one small car.

Sawtell Beach is one of the Coffs Coast's best swimming spots and the village lifestyle has great appeal for locals and also newcomers seeking that warm community atmosphere

Linens are provided. There are smoke alarms at this property.

Quiet, clean and well located apartment

Our family 2 adults and 2 children) stayed at this clean, well appointed, functional small apartment across the road from the beach and walking distance to cafes, pub, restaurants. Definitely stay again.

Great little unit, with no better location.

Stayed here for 5 days with the kids. The unit is spotless, great furnishings and bedding. Also have aircon which is critical in summer. No better location in Sawtell- across the road from the surf club and beach- and through the back gate to the main street and shops.

Property was in an ideal location however we have found a couple of issues with the property. Firstly the lights above the main bedroom headboard were broken and inoperable. Secondly toilet seat Was not the correct fitting for the toilet in the property. This needs to be addressed urgently. It was expected that we would have access to Internet however when we phoned the contact number We were told that there was no Internet available. However when we did an Internet search there was Internet connected to our unit, to pay the price we pay we expected to at least have some Internet accessibility otherwise the unit was great. Clean had everything that we needed. If we do choose the property again will have to be ground level.

A walk to the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was rated 9.6 * we would give it a 6* the unit was advertised as on the beach but a busy road to cross through bushland to the beach by the surf club. Property clean inside but the dining chairs were badly ripped and needed to be replaced. The bathroom cabinet had been rotting for many months as there was water over the floor and possible leak internally the Agent was advised and we lived with the leak for 2 days rather than have the cabinet ripped out by a plumber. We couldn't understand why this had not been reported by either cleaner or previous tenants. The kitchen was well serviced with great appliances. The description did not mention it was in an old brick block of 10 units.

Airbnb have no sympathy

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We couldn't get to our 4 night stay as SEQLD went into lockdown because of covid 19.Airbnb did not care in any way after many emails back and forth. We had to pay our full amount and was given no refund what so ever or offered to reschedule. Warning never use Airbnb.

Great location with space

Gets all the basics right and for the price its good. There seems to be some permanent rentals in the building sharing the space which can get a bit noisy and being across the road from the surf club means plenty of activity from early ( 6am ) in the morning but we`re talking Sawtell here, not Bondi so it`s not too bad. Bed good and supportive, kitchen great, space awesome for 2 people and location to cafes/shops doesn`t get any better.

Close to beach

Well located to shops and very close to beach. It’s a cosy unit that has the basics. Only suggestion is replace or fix the bed in 2nd bedroom as very squeaky when on it.
