We had a great time on our trip to Galveston! The house was far enough out of town to be away from the crowds but it wasn’t a bad drive back in town to do something. The house was clean and had easy access to the beach. The kitchen had a lot pots, pans, utensils, etc and the garage had beach stuff! The owner was very responsive and nice!

The only reason I gave this property 4* is bc of the mosquitos. The owner had mosquito wipes delivered but the issue was so bad that we would run to the vehicle and hurry and close doors. Then sit in car and kill mosquitoes inside the vehicle before leaving. We could not sit outside on the decks or patio. Couldn’t grill, nothing. We couldn’t use the pool bc as soon as you got out of the car you immediately were bitten, repeatedly. Couldn’t enjoy outside bc it was so bad. Only on the beach were you safe. My sister stayed on the canal at another beach about 2m from us. There were zero issues there. We witnessed a truck driving and spraying though. So we spent most of our downtime there. I did let the owner and Terramar Beach know bc it was that bad. I told the owner I would hire someone myself and see if her neighbors wanted to go in on it bc it was that bad. The owner was an absolute dream and the property was amazing! I would rebook, but I’d bring the mosquito creeper defeater skeeter with me.

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing time on our trip. The property is a short distance from the beach, making it super easy for bringing chairs, canopy, toys, coolers, etc. The views were amazing, the house was clean and stocked with anything you would need. Bernadette was also super sweet when I had a question about something. We will definitely stay here again!

Great house! Love the downstairs indoor landing area (to leave shoes and bags inside but not having to take them up), back porch and super close walk to the private beach.

I could not have asked for a better stay in Galveston. Far enough away from town but close enough to go in if you need to. everything about this house is perfectly cozy, with amazing views off both decks. the additional touch of beach toys and chairs in the garage were such a welcome addition that it was so helpful. I cannot recommend a better spot in all of Galveston Island!

The house was perfect for my close family and I. Extrenly clean, great location to the beach, and the check in and check out communication /instructions was clear and precise. I would stay here again for sure.

Family vacation

This property was absolutely perfect for our group. We even found a baby gate to block the stairs for our very curious almost 2 year old. It was VERY clean and free of sand, even though it is about 20 feet from the beautiful private beach.

Wonderful location

Plenty of supplies, GREAT communication with property manager when we locked ourselves out right off the bat. Beach access was so convenient, balconies great for sitting and a Large kitchen!

Lovely home

Home was located in quiet neighborhood, steps from the beach. Beautiful ocean view. Home was well stocked, beds and furnishings were comfortable. Would stay there again and recommend.

Family vacation

House was perfect for our family vacation! We had our 8 kids ages 7 to 18 and everyone had fun! The house was big enough for everyone, very clean, beach access was easy, parking was good, house was stocked with the essentials. Check in was easy, host messaged prior to check in, was quick to reply and we had no issues the whole week!! I would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful beach retreat

The house is just feet from the beach. It is well equipped with beach toys and games for the kids. The host provided special touches that made us feel welcome and at home. It is our second time to stay at this property and we are already hoping to be back next year.

March Break

Nice vacation spot. Beach is private since you can't drive on the beach in that area. Kids enjoyed playing on the beach and looking for crabs at night with flashlights.
