It is a short drive to Tucker County’s famous Blackwater Falls and the trending towns of Davis and Thomas. Inside Duncan’s Den offers plenty of creature comforts. Enjoy multiple TV’s, WIFI, a wood burning fireplace and well stocked kitchen. Located right in the center of beautiful Deerfield Village, Duncan’s Den is sure to provide the perfect setting for your mountain vacation!

VERY RELAXING TRIP

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the beautiful accommodations. Love being able to have a real fire. We stayed in Duncan’s den and feel there should be a couch on either side of the fireplace and not just the single chair. Just a suggestion it was lovely. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. At this time of year, a few more blankets on the bed would be great.

Yearly reunion

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the place was okay. The problem was the misleading claim that the unit has cable tv. It does not. We planned to watch the college football playoffs on a rainy day, only to learn that we could not.There are apps and some worthless channels, but not cable tv as promised. I am as angered by the false statement as I am the lack of cable. Management company is great

Very comfortable beds!!

Came up for a weekend of skiing at Timberline (10 minutes away). The place is cozy, and the beds are super comfortable! Clean. Nothing fancy or super updated, but does the trick with 3BR and a pullout bed. Company management super friendly Lots of kitchen pots and pans :) knives went sharp but we sharpened some of them :) fireplace nice with lots of wood on the porch :) There are a few recommendations : The reservation somehow didn’t appear in my BRBO reservations list, so I think the interface with the rental company wasn’t too strong which made for commode Chcomplications figuring things out Steps had not been shoveled even tho they were packed snow /ice. No shovel to be found so we tried hacking away with a dustpan and the car scrapper. Managememt sent someone over about 2 hours later and they left a shovel. Really missed having a sink disposal unit! Beds are super comfy and lots of blankets provided but I missed a thicker comforter!

Great Vacation Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would stay here again. Very clean, nicely decorated, relaxing atmosphere. Had almost everything we needed. Excellent location. Bathrooms are dated. Shower fixtures need to be treated to get them shining again. Glass in storm door needs to be replaced. Front door blows open so you need to give it a good shove and test it to make sure it's really shut. Some of the doors throughout the rental stick. King-sized bed seems to need a new mattress. The filters for the coffee pot are too small for the pot. No toaster, but we used the toaster oven to make toast. Toilet paper is awful, so bring your own. :D

Reviewer Comments: It was beautiful only down fall the beds are not comfortable at all worse nights sleep I’ve ever gotten and yes I tried each bed the cable in the master room didn’t work all channels was fuzzy emailed about it no response.
