Great time in Muskoka!

We had a wonderful time in Muskoka Cottage! Such a relaxing place after active days on the snow. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious. The owner is very kind and accommodating. There are some trails close to the cottage. Beautiful area for winter fun with family and friends!

Our host provided a lot of information about the property as well as the expectations. The home was beautiful, spacious and very well cared for. My group was a large one and we had enough space and rooms to accommodate everyone. The property is very close to the Echo Valley Trail system which our group found very convenient as our plans were to go on a snowshoe outing during our stay.

Giving Thanks

We had an excellent vacation with our family and friends. House was very clean, very well stocked kitchen. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and comfortable. Batalmea is an excellent host who was very responsive whenever we had a question or concern. Great location, close to Huntsville town and the downtown area.Many thanks for wonderful and relaxing stay!

The cottage was beautiful, brand new and very clean. We were a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children and we had plenty of room for everyone. Each family had their own sitting room.The bedrooms and four bathrooms were large and very comfortable, There was plenty of closet space with good hangers and even a walking closet for the main floor master bedroom, as well as a main floor laundry room next to the kitchen, a great convenience. Overall, the cottage was more like a home and would easily suit three families staying there.The host was prompt at responding to questions and gave wonderful suggestions over the two weeks. We felt well taken care of.We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay.

Unfortunately, this guest was not a good fit for our property. While we strive to provide a clear and smooth experience outlined thoroughly in our listing this guest repeatedly requested access to amenities that were explicitly marked as unavailable, such as garage access. They also asked for early check-in and late check-out to be more than several hours, which we were unable to accommodate due to cleaning schedules and other bookings. Despite our efforts to communicate respectfully and uphold our house rules, the volume and nature of the requests suggested an attempt to receive additional services or potential discounts beyond what was booked. We welcome guests who read our listing carefully and respect the guidelines we’ve put in place to ensure a positive experience for everyone. We would not host this guest again.
