Josephine’s Cottage, romantic couples getaway & your pets welcome !

Gorgeous cottage, tucked behind the Wentworth Falls Lake, overlooking bush reserve. Set directly on the walk around the Wentworth Falls lake and an easy walk to the Wentworth Falls shops and Golf Course. Located close to many of the incredible bush walks the Blue Mountains has to offer.
Consistent 5 star reviews - come and see for yourself!

Self contained, with 1-bedroom, full kitchen, built in laundry and ensuite. The cottage has a 50 inch television, WiFi, and surround sound.
Included is a continental breakfast consisting of fresh bread, fruit, coffee & tea.

Things to note:
- access to the Cottage is from the driveway, which is on an incline.
- There is an off street parking bay available with sensor lights or on street parking.
- Pets on request (NO puppies, toilet trained dogs only) Please email to discuss prior to booking. Note - there is no enclosed yard.
- Note - there could be some building noise on the block located next door

Amazing Short Stay!

I can’t be more impressed and satisfied with Josephine’s Cottage! The host is so friendly, helpful and informative. The interior is so clean and comfy, exactly like what you see in the photos. The location is perfect with a lake and bushwalk nearby. It’s also within close driving range to Leura, Katoomba and Blue Mountains National Park. Highly recommended and we will definitely book with you again if it’s just the both of us travelling. Thank you again for the wonderful stay!

Very disappointing

Unfortunately this property was recently bought by new owners and following my most recent stay in June 2023 I will not be returning again. Such a shame as I had always enjoyed my stays at the cottage in the past.

Beautiful getaway :)

Surprised my partner for her 40th birthday and Josephine’s cottage didn’t disappoint. From the easy check in process to the little surprise of chocolates/bananas / bread /wine etc . Very cosy /warm and clean . All that we needed was there . The king bed was immaculate. Location fantastic . Didn’t meet Louise in person but was able to contact her easily through email . Would recommend staying here 💯 and bonus we were able to bring along our baby ( Nutella ) dog .. Thanks again ..

Refreshing break!

After a hot and busy Christmas, my stay was restful and very comfortable. Loved the decor, cleanliness, gifts, TV accessibility and views. Loved the little touches, wine and chocolates, kitchen ware and bread and lovely butter for toast. Puppies thank you too! Regards Louise

Great place to relax

After a hectic year it was very pleasing to be able to enjoy the 5 star property from day 1. The location was excellent and we enjoyed walks through the small valley opposite and down to the park around the lake. Although we are up there age wise, the cottage provided a mush needed time to relax.

Relaxing Stay

We found this accommodation very relaxing & central to all we wanted to do. We struggled with the driveway a bit, and I would have liked a mat in the shower It was fully equipped with more than we needed for our stay. A lovely loaf of bread, Bottle of wine, Strawberries and milk awaited us. It was very spacious, both in the loungeroom & bedroom area with a king size bed & comfortable seating. Beautiful bush view from the loungeroom windows made this a great time for us.

Weekend away

We stayed after receiving positive comments from our daughter and son-in-law. The welcoming gift, wine, was nice. the place airy and light with food TV, Wifi, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom amenities. Thank you and we certainly will try and stay again in the future when travelling to the Blue Mountains.

A gem in the Blue Mountains

We arrived on a cold day and on opening the door, we were welcomed into the beautifully warm and well appointed cottage. Such thoughtfulness was evident everywhere- from the welcome basket of food and wine, heated towel rails in the bathroom and the well equipped kitchen. We were able to self cater with ease and relax in the cottage - a home away from home. The cottage also has an incredibly comfortable bed and we slept really well. It was so nice to be able to walk round nearby Wentworth Lake on the walking paths. All in all, we had a lovely stay at Josephine’s Cottage. The hosts were excellent and replied promptly to any queries. I can highly recommend this cottage if you want something a bit special in the Blue Mountains.

Perfect stay at Josephine’s Cottage

We had the most perfect stay at Josephine’s Cottage. The Cottage is modern yet cosy and has just about everything you could need for your stay. Super sort drive from Leura and other attractions. The area also has lovely park and lake close by. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Louise and Mark for everything.

Excellent place to stay

This is our second time stay in Josephine's Cottage, there are reasons we love this place: the cottage has a full equipped kitchen, the place is very clean, bright and beautiful, the comfortable bed allows us to sleep very well during the chilly nights when we were there, excellent entertainment like Netflix TV so we can enjoy and relax in the evening. The cottage also in a great location for walking, peaceful neighborhood area, very pleasant walk to Wentworth Falls Lake and shops. Digital keypad entry was super easy to use and aided greatly in access, the owner are really kind and generous, we didn't meet in person, but the communication was really clear, we could feel the warmness from the owner by the provision: the fresh bread, wine, sweets and cheese, the essentials were provided, what else do we need? highly recommend Josephine's Cottage for people who would like to have a great get away in the Blue Mountains. Thank you Louise and Mark for everything!

Excellent place to stay in Blue mountains area!

The cottage is bright and clean, very comfortable even in the raining days when we visited, beautiful interior and comfortable bed makes us had a pleasant and restful sleep, easy communication with the owner and easy check in, highly recommend this place.

Charming getaway

A well- located, well appointed cosy cottage ; pathway to front. door somewhat steepish; we seniors managed it OK but exercising care. Hosts are very obliging. Highly recommended.

Home Away From Home

My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful mid-week getaway at Josephine's Cottage. It's a peaceful and private setting, with easy access to walking trails and Wentworth Village. The Cottage is very clean and beautifully appointed; the bed is immensely comfortable; the shower/bathroom facilities are brilliant; and Netflix was a nice touch that was appreciated during a rainy period. Such a bonus to be able to bring our two cats along -- thank you, Sandy and Damien! Communication from Sandy and Damien was excellent and the check-in/out process was perfect, particularly during current COVID circumstances. I'd highly recommend the place and we would gladly stay there again!

A beautiful Hampton styled property

It was a pleasure having spent two nights at this property. It is a well designed space which allows for a beautiful view and privacy. The hosts are friendly and greeted us upon our arrival. The property is located near Leura & Katoomba. Thank you for the beautiful stay and wonderful experience during our second anniversary.

Wentworth Falls is such a gorgeous place to live and we look forward to sharing our love for the area with our guests. Our favourite thing about living in the Mountains is the bush. We have access to some of the most beautiful walks in the world.
