Nice location on the lake. The lake is very shallow past the pier. Take a little drive further down the road for fresh eggs and a little farther down the road for some hiking trails at Mont Cayamant.

Peaceful and relaxing retreat

Great weekend away at a beautiful lakeside spot. The hosts were warm and welcoming and the accommodations were comfortable.

Abdul and his family were great guests! They left the cottage clean and were a very kind family. While the weather wasn’t very nice, they seemed to make the most of their stay.

We had a great weekend stay. Internet connection was good, we had everything we needed for meals, kayaking was fun, rooms were clean, host was welcoming and friendly while giving us privacy. We would definitely consider coming here again.

Great two night stay

We had great family time on a two night stay. Kids loved being able to use the 3 kayaks that were available. We also enjoyed watching the super moon by the fire pit. Owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Great stay at the lake!

I had an excellent stay at Lake Cayamant. The cottage is located near the host's house if you need anything, as well as a convenience store. The water is sandy and shallow, making it perfect for kids and/or dogs. We'd love to come back.

Nice cottage on a beautiful lake. Kids enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock every day, and of course a campfire in the evening. Hosts live right across the street but respected our privacy and were very quick to respond when we had questions. Overall great experience!

Quiet, bright and larger than we expected.

This was a very happy stay - we were attending our niece’s wedding at a large property on the other side of the lake, just 15 minutes away. We spent most of our time with the wedding party, but it was lovely to come ‘home’ to a quiet, comfortable bed at the end of a couple of long days :)

Great cottage

The owners were super kind and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. There were some unexpected blips and they took care of them and gave us wine and a complimentary pontoon ride to more than make up for them. They are really nice people. They live directly behind the cottage, so it was easy for them to be there when needed. The cottage was cute, clean, and had lots of space. The water was wonderful, shallow, and sandy. It is very close to neighbours, but they are planning to put up a fence for more privacy in the future. We had a great stay.

Peaceful getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night anniversary getaway. Everything was as per the listing and the owners were very responsive and available to our needs. It is easy to see that they take good care of the place. We were grateful to be able to bring our pup as well. We were impressed by the spaciousness, cleanliness of the cottage, and the beauty of the surroundings. We also loved sitting on the deck or the swing and looking out over the lake. Be aware it is not close to any large town but Maniwaki is 45 min. away and Chelsea/ Gatineau a little over an hour and also you will need to bring your own drinking water. But if you are seeking a quiet respite from your busy life, this place is highly recommended! We would love to come back in the summer for swimming or fall for the colors.

Très beau séjour, les hôtes sont à l’écoute, disponibles et attentionnée. Les lieux sont propres avec plusieurs commodités nécessaires. Le lac est magnifique et le chalet nous permet d’avoir constamment cette belle vue. Kayak à disposition pour en profiter j’ai adoré!
