There are two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds for your convenience, open concept kitchen with living/dining area. All rooms are equipped with air conditioners and ceiling fans.

Ocean view condo

The cover photo is misleading, it is "ocean view" not "ocean front" property. Nice safe gated property with good walking paths and very nice pools. Small but well equipped kitchen, hot water shower and comfortable beds

I wish I could tag the photos from how you left my property! The housekeeping staff was shocked and disgusted!!!! Garbage left everywhere, all over the unit, on the floors. All kitchenware we had was dirty, laying on every corner of the unit, towels left outside hanging on the balcony rails, when it clearly states in the instructions not to hang them on the railings, all dirty bedding laying on the floors all over the place! Hosts be aware of such a guest before letting them in to your units! It was a complete disaster! I wish I could post the photos here!!!

The property was clean but slightly dated. The main room was fairly small and would be inconvenient to accommodate 4 adults, it felt a bit cramped for our family of 3. There were ACs and fans in the main room and both bedrooms, and it was easy to keep the apartment cool and dry. The kitchen was well stocked, there were many towels and even beach chairs which was a nice touch. The coco sunset hills complex was very nice, had a gated parking with security, multiple pools and staff maintaining the common areas. You can barely see the ocean from the patio but it's a 3 minute walk down the road, so it's easy to go watch the amazing sunset that playa del coco offers. The host answered us quickly and was helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

Unit 36

On our arrival we spent some time trying to locate our unit. Once we found it and unlocked the gate, we were facing a patio screen door with 2 long rips in the screen.Entered into the kitchen and found there was no oven, only a stove top. There was a futon against the wall and a tv on top of the fridge. That was our sitting area.Both bedrooms had patio doors that didn't lock. They had broom handles wedged in the tracks. The balconies off the bedrooms were filthy. One had a washer on it and maybe room for 1 chair. The other was so dirty you wouldn't want to sit there. These balconies were also surrounded with 9 a/c units abive and beside the balconies.The kick plates under the cupboards in the kitchen were half off and the boards were on the balcony. The remaining ones kept falling off the cuoboards as they weren't attached in any way. We got tired of picking them up so put them on the balcony with the rest of them.The bathroom wasn't too bad other than when we had a shower there was a gap between the glass and the wall and the water ran out to the kitchen. The main patio door still wasn't very secure when we left but there was a gate we could lock so didn't bother calling to have it fixed.When we put in a complaint to the owner, we did get 2 a/c units topped up with freon and the fellow said he would clean them. He came out with 2 buckets of black water and said it was black mold. I didn't mentionI didn't mentionwall and a tv on top of the fridge unlocked

Dear Judy, I’m disappointed to hear your feedback, especially given the context of your stay and our prior communications. To clarify, the guest who stayed immediately before your check-in reported no issues with the property, and my cleaning team thoroughly inspected the unit before your arrival, providing before-and-after photos confirming that everything was in proper condition. Prior to your arrival, you reached out via the VRBO platform asking for assistance in finding accommodations for your children within the same complex. I did my best to assist you, but as I explained, the high demand meant that all units were fully booked well in advance. Based on the timing and nature of your complaints—beginning a full week after your check-in—I suspect that you may have found alternative accommodations and sought to use these complaints to justify a refund. It’s important to note that during the first week of your stay, there were no issues reported. In fact, when I arranged for workers to address your concerns on January 4th, you responded via VRBO that you were enjoying your stay. Additionally, the damages you reported, including the ripped screen and broken locks, were not present before your check-in. During the time when workers were fixing the screen and AC’s , my property manager discovered a cigarette burn in the closet next to the safe, which was not there prior to your arrival (I have sent you a message on this platform about the burn the day the property manager discovered it. Unfortunately it was left unanswered). This is a non-smoking unit, and we will be seeking reimbursement through VRBO for this damage. Our team takes great pride in maintaining the property to the highest standards, and we always strive to address any concerns promptly and professionally. However, it’s important for other hosts and potential guests to be aware of situations where attempts are made to exploit refund policies, particularly during peak seasons.
