Water View Cottage With A/C In Quiet Location, Close To Amazing Beaches

Welcome to Riverview Retreat- A 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage with a newly installed heat pump which features A/C, located on the Founds Mill Stream that flows in to the Stanley River. Rolling hills can be seen from the 5 patio doors. 4 skylights in the cottage allow abundant light in. Just minutes away are multiple world class golf courses, beautiful beaches, and incredible restaurants. Kensington, Stanley Bridge, Cavendish and North Rustico are all close by where you will find all amenities and many activities.

The open concept one story cottage feels extremely spacious due to it's high ceiling and large windows to take in the lovely country views. In this main area is the fully equipped kitchen with a Keurig coffee machine, dining area which seats 6, and the cozy living room with a Smart TV. Down the hallway, you will find the 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Bedroom one has a queen, bedroom 2 has a queen, and bedroom 3 has two twins. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

The large wrap-around deck offers space to relax while taking in the amazing view of The Stanley River. There is a covered in area which offers shade and space for outdoor dining. Riverview Retreat sits on a large lot which means there is a ton of space for outdoor games and exploring. The cottage is also equipped with 6 kayaks where you can launch in the river, just in front of the property. Enjoy evening bonfires at the newly constructed fire pit area with seating.

There is also a GRACO Pack and Play for guest use if you are travelling with children.

Beautiful, bright cottage, immaculately clean with lovely beach themed decor throughout. Located off the beaten path in a lovely peaceful cottage community overlooking the Stanley River. The cottage had everything we could possibly need for a wonderful relaxing week with friends. Located only 10km/10-15 minute drive to Cavendish Beach, a great location for day trips in PEI, nearby golf courses etc. A 25-30 minute drive to the Confederation Bridge. Absolutely loved our week at this lovely riverside retreat !

Fabulous cottage for family stay on the island

The cottage had everything we needed for our stay including kitchen items for meal prep and yard games for outdoor fun. The many outdoor seating areas on the beautiful deck (and binoculars) allowed us to enjoy the pastoral view and track the resident eagle in comfort. Ideal location for day trips and yet provided a peaceful place to return to after a busy day.

Perfect Cottage

This cottage was perfect for 3. Clean, warm, comfortable, all the amenities that were needed. Peaceful location yet an easy drive to see the sites we were interested in. Would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

Fabulous Accommodations

We had a great first visit to PEI ! This house had everything we needed for our stay. It was easy access to the road for all of our adventures. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything anyone would need. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We had one minor issue and it was resolved within an hour. Thank you for being so responsive We loved being close to farm stands and a shop that sold chocolate! We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to PEI ! We spent a lot of time traveling to many of the light houses in the east and went to the Bottle Houses. So much to do and see!

A little off the beaten path by 15 minutes but a great place to relax .

Nice surroundings. Nice view of the River. A great deck with the backdoor area our favourite shaded spot.

Relaxing Riverview

The accommodations exceeded our expectations. The place is immaculate and fully stocked with everything you need. Our family of 4 was comfortable during our week stay. The view is amazing and the location is perfect. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Riverview Cottage very much. My husband & I, along with 3 young adult children stayed at the home for a week. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we would have ever needed. It was a great location to visit other parts of the island, but also a wonderful place to stay and relax. Great view from the wrap around deck, welcoming ac on some pretty hot days, and wonderful fire pit area and yard. Providing kayaks to explore the river is amazing. They have thought of everything. Highly recommend a stay here. We enjoyed our time very much.

Excellent Accommodation

The cottage was in excellent condition, very clean and we wanted for nothing. Easy check in process and well located near golf courses and restaurants. Would recommend to others interested in the central west part of PEI. All in all a great vacation.

Perfect vacation house

Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Easy drive to all the Anne of Green Gables attractions, beaches, and necessities. We loved having use of the kayaks-- so many shorebirds and gorgeous scenery around every bend of the river. Lots of maps and books about the island that were interesting and helpful. We would happily recommend this rental to anyone visiting PEI.

Lovely River Side Stay

We loved this cottage and the river view. We were close to the river, central to everything we wanted to see, and the fall nights by the fire were perfect. The house was comfortable, tastefully decorated, and a perfect accommodation for our group. Everything we needed was provided and the calm river was a joy to kayak for the children and the adults!

Very nice property!

We had no difficulty finding the property. It was very clean & had plenty of comfortable furnishings. It was too chilly for us to sit out on the deck, but the river views were still lovely. Nice place.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful setting

If you are looking for a very clean and super organized cottage in a peaceful setting with views of the river leading out to the Ocean and your own resident bald Eagle to watch and enjoy everyday then this place is perfect for any couple but especially for families. The owner of the cottage has done a exceptional job setting up the place so you have absolutely everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. It’s location is so close to everything it’s perfect 10 min trips to enjoy all sorts of activities but once your back at cottage it’s far enough away it’s quiet and full of stars at night to take in. Can’t say enough good things and we certainly are going to re book but we will just stay longer next time!!! Adam Gard Ottawa, Ont.
