This family holiday house will not disappoint! Absolutely amazing bush views and right next to the Waimapihi Pohill Reserve which has mountain biking tracks and bush walks. From the front lounge you can see views of the stunning South Coast.
The Space:
This 2 story Brooklyn family home includes spacious, well-appointed open plan living upstairs with incredible views and sun. Upstairs there are two lounges, new kitchen and dining room, one bedroom with a Queen bed and a bathroom. The kitchen has instant hot water so no need to fill a jug. On the ground level there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a bedroom with a King single bed. There is a bathroom with a bath and a shower downstairs. In the garage there is a washing machine and dryer.
The house has been fully renovated three years ago with new Rhino carpet, painted walls, new kitchen, new bathrooms and double glazed windows.
With Wi-Fi and a smart TV everyone can be entertained on rainy days with the bonus of controlling the temperature with gas central heating.
In summer, eat your breakfast on the lovely outdoor deck and drink a nice hot coffee from the Nespresso machine.
This house would suit a family with children wanting a break away to get away from it all with an extra lounge for the teenagers wanting some space. It may not be suitable for a very young family as there are stairs and the living areas and one bedroom are upstairs while the other two bedrooms are downstairs.
Short downhill stroll to the local shops, including pizza, burgers, fish and chips and Indian takeaways and the Penthouse cinema and 5minutes drive to Cuba Street in Wellington City.

Room 1: Queen bed (please note this is not a big bedroom)

Please note that this is a private residence that is rented out occasionally. We have locked off our fourth bedroom to store our “junk” which is why one of the doors will be locked downstairs. We have a very anxious cat who is not suited to a cattery (we’ve tried) so we pay a student to feed the cat outside when we are away. We will lock the cat door that goes from the garage into the house so you will not have the cat visit but she doesn’t like strangers anyway so won’t come near you.

*Please do not sleep more than 5 at the property.

We do ask that when you leave you turn the dishwasher on and strip the sheets when you leave.
