An idyllic drive through towering pines will take you to our serene little cottage called "Inn The Moment" in the charming town of Port Sydney, Muskoka. Originally built in the 1930s, this bright and newly renovated cottage is five minutes from beautiful Mary Lake. Experience what every season in Muskoka has to offer. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a memorable trip with friends, you're sure to stay "Inn The Moment" here!

"Inn The Moment" is newly renovated and beautifully decorated. Five minutes from beautiful Mary Lake where you can relax on the beach, go for a swim, have a picnic, launch a boat, or explore the Port Sydney Falls! While you’re there, walk to David's General Store to enjoy some locally sourced products and gifts or head across the street to the Port Sydney Community Park where you can play some beach volleyball, basketball, or watch your kids enjoy the playground. Exploring Muskoka in the winter? We are directly on the OFSC D103B snowmobile trail, and you will find ice skating trails, cross-country skiing, outdoor rinks, dog sledding and more all within a 30 minute radius. Every season has so much to offer when you're in the heart of Muskoka! When you book with us, you receive a curated Welcome Package which includes the history of the area, restaurant recommendations, things to do and see, and much more!

Very quaint and clean cottage! The area is majestic with big beautiful pine trees. Highly recommend for a small group. The big bonus for us was being able to have our dog vacation with us!!

Superb Getaway

We chose Inn the Moment for its proximity to other family members who live in Port Sydney and for its charm as shown in the listing. We couldn't have a better choice! The cottage was clean and tastefully decorated, well-equipped and offered all the luxuries of a five-star getaway. The owner was excellent to deal with every step of the way. We will be back!

Cozy stay

Place was very clean. Decor very nice. Modern appliances. Bathroom nice. Communication was efficient. I was unaware of the busy street the home was situated on. Make sure you bring your own soap for the shower.

Inn the Moment was just what we were looking for...it was clean and well decorated and very clean and welcoming. We definitely recommend this cozy little getaway.

Snowed-in? No problem!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Inn the Moment in mid February and we were very happy with our stay! The cottage was better in person than the pictures portrayed, very cozy and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and wares you might need. In such cold weather, the fireplace was a lifesaver. Additionally, Michelle & Rob have someone hired to plow the driveway, which was absolutely phenomenal with the snowstorm that we endured during our stay. We had a slight issue with the lockbox being frozen shut but Michelle was very quick to respond with possible solutions, and I don't imagine this being an issue unless you book during the colder months (despite the trouble, we were able to get inside after warming the box and prying strategically haha). Lots to do around town, but above all we recommend checking out Muskoka Puppy Yoga (make sure to book a couple weeks in advance because they fill up quick)! Thanks again to Michelle & Rob for the stay!

Wonderful place, great location

We had a lovely stay at Inn The Moment at the end of October. It was just as charming and well laid out as the pictures suggested. Check in was a breeze, the beds were comfortable and there were many thoughtful touches throughout. At the end of the road was a beautiful nature area. You are close to town for everything you might need. We would love to return and can highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and easy to get to. The location is very convenient, between Huntsville and Bracebridge. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Appreciated the coffee, s’mores supplies, onsite laundry and the gas stove that made the living room warm and cozy. Communication with the host was excellent. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect for getaway!

Cozy cottage well equipped, beds like a hotel….very comfy. Beauty kitchen…new and modern…enjoyed the fire every afternoon. Short scenic drive to Huntsville, falls, and lookout, Port Sydney beach is lovely. Fall colours at their peak so stunning drives…we also lucked out with 20+c temps. Hope to return again .

A true joy to stay at Inn the Moment! Our family absolutely loved this wonderful little house. Michelle and Rob have impeccable taste and have created an idyllic Muskoka getaway that has everything you need! Honestly, nothing was missing and every inch of the place was spotless. Communication was friendly and timely, and the location is perfect for exploring Port Sydney, Huntsville and environs, or Algonquin Park. Great place, great location, great hosts! We'll definitely be going back!

Inn The Moment

My husband and I stayed for a week at this cottage near Huntsville. It is in a great location, lots to see and do. The cottage isn’t big, but it is extremely well equipped. The owners were quick to respond if we had questions.

Beautiful Cottage

Our first reaction when we opened the door was Wow! The cottage is beautiful, immaculately clean, and stocked with everything one could possibly need. It was the perfect resting spot for exploring Muskoka. Highly recommend!

You are definintely Inn The Moment

There are too many good things to post about my experience that I had at Inn The Moment. The three best ones were the actual property itself, the area and the host. All were top notch, and I would HIGHLY recommend anybody needing a getaway to visit here.

Girls weekend getaway

My friends and I had a great time at Inn the Moment. The host, Michelle was super friendly and communicative and the house was so cute and clean! It was also well stocked and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed seeing the local sights and then hanging out afterwards on the front porch or around the fire pit. Would definitely recommend Inn the Moment, thanks Michelle!

Family fun place

We had our vacation in this beautiful place. Interior was so clean, newly renovated and still has the cottage style country feel. The weather was great. Enjoyed the BBQ, fishing, kayaking and the 5 minutes away beach. Local grocery stores were so close and had everything we needed. Everyone we met were so friendly and welcoming. The host (Rob & Michel) were so supportive and responsive with all our questions anytime before and during. We highly recommend the "in the moment" Cottage and we will definitely consider renting this on our next trip.
