Created Memories of a Life Time

The property was everything that was described and than some. The pictures do not do it justice. We had an amazing stay and wish we could have stayed longer. David was a great host and answered our multiple questions in a timely manner. Would not hesitate to rent from him again in the future. The service and property are 5 star all the way. You will not be disappointed!!!

Stunning and amazing at every turn!

Our entire experience was perfect! The owners, David and Dayna, were wonderful and very attentive to our needs. The location of the resort was convenient and close to everything we wanted to do and see, although had we never left the resort we would have been completely happy as it is beautiful and had everything we needed to make our stay in Mexico lovely. One thing that stood out was the staff at the resort - every single person we came into contact with was helpful and genuinely kind, and the entire resort was spotless. With so much attention to detail, I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else on our next trip! David also recommended a wonderful tour guide who took us out for an entire day as we visited several Mayan temples and even a Mayan village complete with a small personal cooking lesson. Definitely a must on your visit, as is the Xcaret park! The evening program, showcasing Mexico's rich history and traditions through song and dance, is worth the price of admission alone! And be sure to include the Cirque du Soleil show in your visit as it is conveniently located across the highway from the resort, and they shuttle you right to the theater. It was amazing and the best we've seen! I could go on and on, but would highly recommend this owner and resort over and over again. I look forward to visiting their other locations!

1st class experience

My family of 9 adults spent Christmas week here. We loved everything about our stay. The unit is beautiful. Appears very new, very clean. All the services from the spa, gym, golf, restaurants, pools are incredible. My group used them all and raved about each one. Every waiter, housekeeper, shuttle driver, greeter, receptionist and anyone else we encountered was truly sweet and helpful. We had a perfect week. Just a few suggestions... The unit is listed a sleeping 12, however, comfortably and with privacy I would change that to 6-7 adults. My husband and I had 7 grown children with us and we had 2 in the open loft and 1 on the couch in the living room. We were okay with that but others may not be. The beach is very rocky. We snorkeled one day but needed to jump off a pier to get out far enough from the rocks. Coming back in was a challenge and we managed to get pretty scraped up. We never found a less rocky area on this beach. However the beach is still beautiful and each pool is incredible. This unit includes “platinum status” which is a nice addition. However, it took us a few days to figure out what was included with this. It would be nice to know all the inclusions with this status from the beginning. On 3 occasions we made reservations with the concierge by phone for restaurants and golf and then showed up for our time only to find out the reservation was never made. This was a little frustrating but became a joke with our group. We think the week was just a very popular time and they couldn’t keep up with the demand. We ventured off the property 2 days and found it to be easy. We saw the ruins in Tulum and swam in the beautiful cenotes. The Tulum beach was gorgeous. We had a full day of an excursion with Captain Quickie to swim with sea turtles, swim in a private cenotes and then a 3 hour catamaran ride. Absolutely fantastic day. We would highly recommend this excursion. We also had an evening out for a wonderful dinner of tacos at a local taco stand in Playa del Carmen. We always felt very safe and never had to think about our safety. I would highly recommend this unit. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Absolutely Amazing!

Amazing! We were so pleased how the space spread out comfortably with separate luxury spaces for all. Veranda was private, luxurious and perfect for relaxing to read, or to enjoy a feast in the beautiful surroundings. I keep coming up with “Jungle Paradise” as the perfect description. Every detail has been thought of; and many beyond what we can imagine! The staff are wonderful. Always available and up to any request, they even arranged for a surprise celebration of our 50th anniversary by showering our bed with rose petals and lovely towel swans and delivered a delicious treat as well! The space was perfect for visiting with our family, or just luxuriating in the soaking pool on the deck or, my favorite, the soaking tub in the bathroom! Every space is spotless, and just seems to invite you to want to relax and enjoy. There are lovely, fragrant blooms in every room. And the whole space always smelled like a lovely garden. The beach in front of the resort is nice, and a fantastic beach is just a sort walk! Smooth, soft sand, a few waves for body surfing too! We also enjoyed the snorkeling just off the beach. We swam in the pristine and fresh Grand Luxxe long pool frequently, in fact, some of our party enjoyed a private night swim there. Very special! We all relaxed in the palatial private spaces set aside for Grand Luxxe Residence Club guests. Service was perfect. The whole experience was like living in a jungle paradise! Then, there are all the incredible restaurants! We enjoyed delicious dinners all over the resort -- The French restaurant Azur was very Haute Cuisine, and I had a feeling of walking into a truly French experience. Gourmet in every way. We had a delicious 3 hours dinner, with the perfect attention to every detail. The escargot is divine, by the way. We also enjoyed the Chiringuito Spanish restaurant celebrating our 50th there with 25 family! Every delicious bite was amazing. I love vacations where the dinner meal can be an experience to look forward to all day long! We were never disappointed! The Brio French spa was a luxurious pampering and we all enjoyed that as well. The Plunge Pool was just the thing to prepare to receive a massage or other treatment from the professional and friendly staff. I received the best pedicure I have EVER had here! One last comment… The pools near the beach at the Grand Bliss were perfect! I love a pool that is right on a beach. A perfect resort! We will definitely be back.

Luxury with impeccable service

Our group of 7 adults are checking out today after a fabulous week. The 3 bedroom loft is exquisite and exactly as pictured on the website. We had all the room we needed to hangout together but also have separate space. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed but even if it wasn't I feel sure one call to the concierge and whatever we wanted would have shown up. We had (3) 21 year old girls with us and one of them actually cried when we entered our unit because she said she had never been to such a nice place. I have stayed at the Grand Luxxe before but had not stayed in a unit that gave us platinum status. I can't tell you how nice that is. There are shuttles dedicated to platinum members which makes getting around much easier. It is also very nice having dedicated space at both the beach club and on the beach itself. There are just a lot of subtle perks that enhance your stay. The resort itself is beautiful and the staff could not be nicer. I do wish it had a nicer / less rocky beach but the many pools do tend to make up for that. I also wish there was more nightlife and an adult only pool. Other than that I cannot say one negative thing about this resort. The owner of this unit was very responsive and easy to work with.

EXQUISITE ACCOMMODATIONS in a GORGEOUS Setting!

We have stayed several times in the Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta Property and never had a negative experience once! On several occasions I have contacted David Bain and his wife about their rental properties. I have ALWAYS been impressed with their quick response and very helpful attitude. Most recently, I contacted David for a very last minute "girls week away" for my mom. Within a 24 hours my mom was booked, confirmed and only three days later had her confirmation in hand. It was awesome and probably one of the easiest reservations I have made. As of late, David is the first and only owner I contact when we want to travel to the Vidanta resorts! You will not be disappointed in staying in the Grand Luxxe Properties. There is not a detail that is overlooked and the customer service is exceptional! From their room fragrances and toiletries, turn down service and decor, every part of your being is nurtured! We find that once you are on property, it is very reasonable for dining and entertainment. I would say it is comparable or even less than booking an all-inclusive resort. Thank You David for all of your assistance. It is a pleasure to deal with you! We wish you all the best~
