Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, and a private bathroom. There is also a double sofa bed. If you are just 2 guests and require the use of the sofa bed plus bedding then please select the 3 guest booking option. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc
You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the alpacas! Breakfast is included and we are happy to cater to any dietary needs. You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products.

Fishing stay

We loved the location and the rural atmosphere. Julie and Mike were gracious hosts. Would go again just for the bread. Lavender and magnesium cream is really a real treat.

A bit of heaven

The location of this home is fantastic, up on a hillside with views all around. Everything about our stay was fantastic. We felt so welcome and cozy and loved the locally made lavender products and the delicious breakfast. We even did a wee bit of shopping at the onsite lavender shop - it smelled heavenly in there! Thank you!

Lavender Farm

This was an ideal place to stay. central to so many places, the hosts were very friendly and made our stay feel like we were staying with friends. The dogs were well-behaved, and we were able to feed the Alpacas provided. amusement for our daughter.

Home away from home

Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely, clean and smelt of lavender. The hosts dogs were very friendly and well behaved. We loved hanging out with the dogs and cats. Would recommend to a friend!

Absolutely fantastic 5 star

Mike and Julie are attentive, thoughtful and truly excellent hosts. This was our 2nd stay at the lavender farm and we wish we had booked for longer. Lavender Farm with friendly pets

The owners who live in the adjacent house on the lavender farm are so welcoming. Their extremely friendly dogs and one of their cats came to greet us on the grounds as we arrived. My mom loved the lavender products that were in the bathroom enough to buy 3 bottles of their body lotion and my dad got a big kick out of feeding the alpacas. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area again:)

Wonderful place with wonderful hosts!

We were looking for a picturesque spot to get a break from city life and this place exceeded our expectations. Mike and Julie were absolutely fantastic and they made sure our stay was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we'd like to say a big thank you to them. Wonderful scenery, awesome animals (the cat made a late appearance but she's worth waiting for!) Only a short trip to Timaru so we'd love to recommend this place to anyone planning to pass through. Thanks again! Aaron, Agnes and Bella.

Trip with the olds

Took my parents for a short trip whilst they were visiting from UK. My mum loves lavender so found this place. Well the lavender was the draw but the place was the jewel in the crown!!! Amazing views. Julie and Mike so friendly, extra effort made as mum gluten free!! Loved the lavender products, great to be able to buy some to take home. Will definitely be back.

Cave barn stay

Nice but not what we pictured. The photos portray a barn alone on a farm but infact the owners house is 20 mtrs away and the public lavender shop is attached. So not very private. Lovely people but not what we were looking for in a private getaway. We will do more research next time.

Adorable

My mom requested a farm stay, so we chose this lavender farm. It is a ways off the beaten path but the area is so green and lush, worth it. Julie, Mike, the two cats, two dogs and three alpacas were all great. Julie made us feel right at home, Mike stuck around to talk about the property, the cats were attentive, the dogs active and after a week in New Zealand we were finally able to get close to alpacas. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast had many choices. We were only there for a day but we felt like we were with friends.

Unique Accommodation

The combination of the stunning outlook and beautiful scent of lavender makes this a wonderful place to de-stress. My son loved feeding the alpacas and running down the rows of lavender. The lavender products are amazing. I think the hosts were very generous given the time and effort put into making our stay enjoyable. The only con would be the wind and other sounds kept my husband awake but he is a sensitive sleeper.

Loved our stay!

We were wanting a place to stay heading from Christchurch to Queenstown and found this little barn house which we loved. The hosts responded quickly and were very helpful in showing what the house had to offer. We were greeted by their two pups when we arrived and loved it. Very sweet dogs! We also walked down to the alpacas and fed them and loved that as well. The views are very beautiful around the house and there’s a very peaceful feel to it. The lavender was just starting to show some color and was nice to see. We only stayed one night but the house had everything we needed for the stay. It’s a very cute house. Would definitely recommend this little barn house if you’re staying in the area!

A Wonderful Find

Mike and Julie were engaging, helpful, friendly and informative hosts who went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and relaxing stay at their wonderful lavender farm. A great place to chill out, with cosy and comfortable accommodation. The 1st floor bedroom with great views over rolling countryside and distant mountains to wake up to each morning was a delight. Two very affectionate dogs to accompany us exploring the estate, with its rows of lavender as well as grapes vines, olive and fruit trees not forgetting the three resident amiable alpacas.
