Bring your family to our cottage " Heaven on Earth" with lots of room for fun. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and soak up the views from our waterfront cottage. Watch the birds from your backyard patio chair, or spend the afternoon by beautiful lake Huron. Listen to the soothing sound of waves , or spend a lazy morning lounging in the hammock. Spend the afternoon out on the water and end the evening at the fire pit. You are sure to fall in love with this place.

Great family vacation

Lots of space at home and well-equipped! We were 5 adults, a 3 year old and a 10 month old, and a big dog, and we all had a great time. The host is very responsive as well and there are a lot of guides at the place that can help you navigate around. Great option for a family vacation!

Great for kids and adults alike

Well kept cabin with absolutely stunning lake views! We had such a relaxing time kayaking, reading in the hammock, and watching the wildlife. My kids particularly enjoyed catching frogs and watching the turtles sun themselves on what we dubbed “turtle rock”. It was an easy drive to the National Park for some hiking along the Georgian Bay as well. I hope we get a chance to stay again in the future.

Dirty and no lights

The property was not clean when we checked in. There was garbage left in the garbage can and so much dog hair and debris around the house. The lightbulbs were completely missing in all three rooms. Some of the rooms had additional lamps that worked, but one room had no light completely. The property manager was not very helpful when we contacted him. Location is fine and the property is nicely secluded.

Exploring Bruce trails winter time

The property had a fairly central location to explore some of the Bruce Trail network. The Grotto trail was very icy, so best to bring some crampons / ice grippers when hiking this trail The house was as advertised and Sam was very quick replying with any questions. It was nice that we were able to bring our older golden retriever and have her apart of the trip

Beautiful modern clean place, nice surrounding

It was worth the price. The place was modern nicely renovated well kept and clean. We stayed for one night with friends. The place had all cooking equipment and a bbq machine to easily make our meals. The waterfront in the back was nice in the evening and early morning. Clean towels. Clean bedrooms with comfortable bedding sand pillows. Washer and dryer were helpful after coming from the beach. About 20 minutes drive to Tobermory downtown. Easy communication with the property manager. Overall it was relaxing with a good vibe

Wonderful cottage!

We had a wonderful vacation at this cottage, we stayed for 3 nights with our small dog. We appreciate having a chance to book a rental with our pup. The kitchen has everything you need, it's very clean. The cottage is really easy to find, and it's in a good location – 10 min. drive to a beach, and about 20 minutes to Tobermory. Beautiful sunsets and had a great bonfire. I recommend you bring your own throw blankets. Heavy duvets are provided but we like to have options :). The back deck was nice, but doesn't have any shade. Perhaps a big umbrella would be nice too but I understand they may not want to use one because it can get windy. Overall, awesome experience and can't wait to book again!

Honest Review- This place is incredible

I happened to be able to squeeze in a 2 day stay to try and escape the busy schedules and work life. We managed to find this GEM available and booked it, hoping for a nice quiet and peaceful getaway just me, him and our two pooches! Boy we’re we impressed! This place is gorgeous! The kitchen was stocked with every single thing you could need, all linens and bedding provided, washer and dryer, dishwasher etc. but the best part of it all was the stunning view right on the water. I spent a large majority of my time lounging in the hammock or by the firepit at night. The stars at night are another incredible site to see, the cottage is situated perfectly for you to be able to catch the most amazing experience. Don’t let the “no a/c fool you” the cool breeze off the lake with the fans throughout, keep it surprisingly cool and refreshing. Would 1000% recommend booking here.

The worst

We arrived at the property around 4.30 trying to use the six digits code they sent . No luck to open the door after many attempts , couldn’t reach the property manger . Checked the email where it says contact the host , it say no contact information available. It was raining, the phone and the Internet barely working we have to move around the house to get one bar signal if we lucky. Finally we made a contact with 800 Vrbo line, they were surprise why we got six digits code instead of four , when we asked the lady why we got six digits , she said the host gave us invalid code .any way after a while the lady over the phone was able to send the right code, so finally we were able to enter the property , and it was almost 6 pm . So one hour and half under the rain and stress.Inside the property , the sheets dirty, smell so bad and there were sand on the bed. Fans all dirty under the bed dirty, kitchen ware dirty, the AC thermostat was locked on certain temperature, the couch was stained .Overall I don’t recommend this rental to anybody.
