This place was stunning. It was the perfect place for our book retreat getaway. Tons of quiet beautiful spaces to sit and read, but also wide open spaces for crafts and cooking in the kitchen together. It is also dog friendly and I wish I had brought my dog along with us. I would happily book this place again.

Our check-in was delayed as we didn’t receive the access code until after 4:20pm. The property was not as clean or well-prepared as during our previous stay. We were also contacted about missing towels, which was later resolved, and about fire restrictions that were not communicated in advance. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations compared to last year.

Family vacation

We had 10 people ages 14-70 in our group and it was a great space for everyone. Check in was very easy and the host even let us in early the day we arrived as it was empty. This was so appreciated. There is a beach a short distance away and lots to do nearby. Lots of dishes and we weren't wanting for anything while we were there.

Senior parents, sons and their children and couple of senior’s siblings. Perhaps the best stocked kitchen we’ve used!! To add to the fun, we rented paddle boards from Vernon….delivered to the door.Lots of gathering spaces for everyone. Very enjoyable holiday!! Thank you, Elizabeth.

Amazing stay

A relaxing environment!

Family getaway

Hodges lake house was the perfect space for our family of 10. There was plenty of space and great bedrooms and main floor common area. Kids, grandparents, adults and dog all had a great time enjoying the hot tub, fire, patio and kitchen. Kitchen was stocked incredibly well and we made for great meals together. If you are in the area, highly recommend visiting the Kangaroo farm and Davidson orchard in Vernon.

Wedding trip

The accomodations were fantastic. There was plenty of room for our entire group. The house and grounds were very clean and well laid out. The attention to detail did not go un noticed. Clear directions and requirements. Hot tub was spotless and there was even ame furewood provided. I would absolutely recommend this rental unit. The hosts were also very responsive

Beautiful cottage

It was truly a beautiful cottage, with the most beautiful view. Great place to getaway. Kyle & Lizz were very nice kind people, they let us check-in earlier. The only little thing that upset us is the neighbours that we’re renting next door were complaining about unreasonable noises when weren’t even loud, I mean we were enjoying our vacation and the kids were happy and laughing but definitely not as loud or as bad as they had said However, still had a good time.

Beautiful, private property

We stayed from Sunday - Thursday with 6 adults and a dog. The property was perfect for us, with lots of areas for everyone to spread out, and a beautiful large open living area with a big table that easily fit us all (and the current jigsaw puzzle). Short walk to the beach but you'll want to drive your paddleboard or kayak because it's pretty steep. Inside we found everything we needed as well as a few extras that were very much appreciated. It felt very private, and was quiet with absolutely amazing views of the lake and surrounding area.

Wonderful family escape

We stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful property. The cabin is large, comfortable and was extremely clean. We were able to eat meals on the expansive deck, and enjoy quiet mornings with amazing views of the lake. The kids spent their days jumping off of the various docks at the beach, and our golden also loved having an off leash beach to swim at. Thanks so much for letting us stay!

Wonderful Lake House

A stunning location with views across Okanagan Lake, a beautiful house with ample space for a family to relax with friends and enjoy a vacation together. Great kitchen and nice, big BBQ. The beach is a ten minute walk and is well worth it. Great dock to jump off of and a very large clean swimming area.

Great stay

We had such an incredible stay here! The property is beautiful and has a great view, especially on the upper deck. We were a large group and had tons of space both in the house and yard. The host was super accommodating as well. Would definitely come back!

Idyllic, Tranquil Lakeside Getaway

The photos do not do this beautiful chalet justice, as the house and grounds are much more impressive in person. The amenities inside and outside are well-thought out: the showpiece living room with its vaulted high ceilings makes for a cozy and inviting space, while the gorgeous near-wrap around deck gives stunning views of the lake and grounds. Internet was fast and available throughout the home, and it was a bonus to have a separate basement suite with its own kitchen and laundry facilities. We had 9 adults in our group, and each of us was able to find our own cozy nook to rest and recharge. We also enjoyed being a short walk down a secluded beach to take in the best of the Okanagan summer. Highly recommended if you and your group want to have a quiet part of the lake to yourselves!
