Property was nice and clean. Plenty of sleeping space was able to sleep our large family comfortably. The location was perfect, close to the beach and close to stores for last minute items.

Excellent Accommodation

We truly enjoyed our stay w/ample amount of room for the entire family. Location was excellent and centrally located to all areas that we visited. We will definitely consider staying here again

Great stay

House is in a perfect location, walking distance to the beach, even downtown. 20 minutes max. But overall its was perfect for the LoneStar Rally.

It was a great time at the property there were a lot of sticker burrs so it is best to wear some closed toe shoes.

Family Getaway

This was our second stay in this same property. The house was exactly what we needed for our days in Galveston, comfortable, cozy, and close enough to all of the things we wanted to do in town. Everything was as described. The kitchen is perfect for making family meals during our stay (recommend bringing larger dishes/bowls/pans if needed for your size of family/group or purchasing disposable!). Bedrooms are comfortable and offer plenty of space for a family or group. We would highly recommend this property and plan to stay again another time!

Convenient location

Overall was a good stay. There were no dressers or closets for clothes storage. So it was hard to live out of the suitcases. Only one tv in the living room. Could use some in the bedrooms. The kitchen floor is coming up and was nailed back down in spots, my 2 yr old daughter stepped on one of said nails and cut her foot. The main shower was dirty upon arrival, had hairs on walls and floor. Was ok other than that. Close to seawall

Not what we expected

I don't know where to start to be honest. I don't want to be mean, but the house was NOT what we expected. or advertised. Cleanliness is my priority when renting an arbnb and this was NOT clean at all. As we walked in it looked right away that it was not swept nor mopped floors all thru the house. Kitchen, bathrooms floors were nasty, dried out spill marks and hairs all thru the bathroom floors. Had problems with opening the front coded door, neighbors kept parking in the drive way, leaving us parked out in the streets. Bed are NOT comfortable what so ever, nor cleaned sheets. Stove and microwave were very dirty full of grease. All the mats thru out the house were dirty not vacuum, top room with 2 twin bed was very hot and dirty. Will NOT ever rent this house again. Not a good experience at all. I could keep going and going about all the troubles we encountered in this house.P.S Owners I'm sorry I didn't want to write this review, but you guys really have to step up on the cleaning part inside and outside of the house. The house is in a great location, very convenience close to the pier and to many good restaurants, but I couldn't stay another day.

Large Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The location of this property offered us close access to Seawall Blvd, Downton and The Strand, and so much more. For anyone who enjoys crafting, BONUS, the local yarn shop, Joyfully Stranded Yarn and Beads, is just 4-5 blocks away! The home has been updated, plenty of space for my large family (group of 9) to hang out for the week. While the temperatures in Galveston were super hot, we enjoyed the cool oasis in this home during the hottest parts of the days. The kitchen offered plenty of space and everything we needed for preparing food for our family. We had no problems with the property while we were there. I did have a couple of questions when we first arrived, and the house host was very quick to respond to my email. There are a couple of cosmetic things that need to be addressed, but overall, this place was perfect for the week away with my family. One note: the neighborhood seems fairly calm and quiet most of the time, but we did experience some loud noise/traffic on one of the nights. This is in a city neighborhood and there will be traffic, but overall, it was a calm, seeet oasis for my family!

65th Birthday beach trip

We enjoyed the house, it has plenty of beds and the kitchen/living room was perfect for our needs. The location is fantastic—right up the street from the seawall and not far from the Strand. Close to everything. Nice place.

Accommodations during Sandcastle Weekend

For marketing purposes: We had seven adults in the unit, and the space was quite adequate. We had 3 people in the 2nd bedroom (1 in each bed), 2 people in the attic loft, 1 person in the master bedroom, and 1 person on the living room sofa. We each had plenty of space. The refrigerator/freezer was large enough to hold all of our food and beverages. Kudos to whomever installed the tile in the showers. Very nice job! I would gladly stay here again next year to attend the Galveston sandcastle event. For maintenance purposes (not for public display): There were two trails of very small ants on along different walls in the kitchen. One ant trail appeared to be coming through the wall outlet on left side near the sink. The other trail appeared to be coming through a horizontal crack in the sheetrock immediately below the cupboards. The 12" x 12" air filter in the upstairs loft needs replaced. It was clogged with enough dust to reduce air flow. It might also help to install butterfly throttle dampers on the downstairs HVAC ducts to increase air flow to the attic loft. The purple box fan needs replaced. We ran it for about 10 seconds and saw that it had severe vibration issues, so it was turned off for the rest of our stay. The small "temporary" microwave oven on the kitchen counter was not large enough to hold the dinner plates. I hope the built-in microwave gets repaired soon.

Family vacation

Had a short vacation with my family. We enjoyed our stay. Only down fall was that the house had only one TV, so the kids didn’t get to use the PS4 since the grownups were using TV. Other then that the house was nice and cozy. We walked to the beach instead of driving.
