Family vacation

Wonderful place to just sit and relax. The house had everything you could need or want. My 2 older kids loved the game room and the TVs in the bedrooms! Perfect location, just a short drive to lots of shops and food places in the surrounding towns.

Beautiful Home in Lovely Location

Our group of 6 loved our stay here. The accommodations were perfect. We look forward to returning when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of all the outdoor amenities. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Cute Place with Lots to do

Everything was great about the place. Only downside was the water pressure was low at times so we had to cordinate taking showers but that was a small issue. Overall would stay again

Fantastic stay

Our 2 families had a blast, weather wasn't the greatest but the houae is full of fun on its own. Loved pool, ping pong, kayaks and paddle boat & board were at hit!!!

Fun place

Nice house with lots of games for grand kids. Pictures are accurate everything worked, nice lady to talk to about check in etc. would strongly recommend staying there. Our family really enjoyed the house. Owner has gone out of their way to make staying there easy and comfortable

This house was exactly as advertised! It felt very clean and homey. Lots of fun things to do and so many different rooms with different activities!

Lovely getaway!

We had a lovely stay. So many nice touches to the home! It definitely felt like home. All the trinkets made it very tempting to our little ones. The bedroom with no air conditioning was a little disappointing. Overall we had a great time! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Sister weekend

Four sisters enjoyed a wonderful weekend that included walks, sitting on the dock, games, grilling, fire pit, a wine festival, and a farmers market. Great space with beautiful views. Do as much or as little as you want. We will be back.

Amazing property!

Loved our stay here. This house is perfect for a group with every amenity needed. This host has thought of everything! From fun indoor games to kayaks and paddle-board you won’t be bored. The attention to detail in the house was amazing. For example, there are 8 types of tea as well as multiple types of coffee. The glasses and mugs are all nice heavy material- it’s a nice change from most rentals. There are multiple rooms with super comfortable furniture. Everything is very well done- they thought of everything. The view is incredible. Wake up and see the sunrise. It is gorgeous. The communication with the host was super easy- they were very responsive. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Gorgeous property - great for families!

The property was gorgeous: & clean, on the water with a pier and well furnished. The house had a number of rooms with lots of scenic windows that enabled multiple small intimate conversations or large gathering. Doors allowed for the older family members to converse in part of the house without bothering the younger ones trying to sleep. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The house had plenty of amenities to keep everyone occupied; a pool table, foosball, and a ping-pong table inside; outside it had another smaller ping-pong table,, a hot tub, and lounge chairs outside under cover; and it had a fire pit with chairs and a pier with fish cleaning sink, crab pots, (they really worked!), and a beautiful nighttime view of the stars and the Milky Way. And the paddle boat and kayaks provided a wonderful way to enjoy the sheltered water area or venture over to the edge of the might Chesapeake Bay. All of this made our family vacation way too short!

A little disappointing...

The house was nice but a bit of disrepair, it couldn't handle larger groups. The water pressure was non existent if you had more than one thing running. So one shower at a time, even though there were two bathrooms. If you turned on both, one would just stop running. Things that were broke were just pushed back together, someone sat on a chair and it fell over because it slid off the blocks stuck where there was a missing leg, 2 more chairs where broken at the dining room table. The kayaks the house came with, one almost went under after being out for less than an hour because it was taking on so much water that I barely made it back to the dock. The house just wasn't well kept for the cost.

Overall great trip! Downside - wasted food

The house was able to accommodate my family of 10! There was enough activities to do for different age groups - from young to old. My grandpa definitely enjoyed playing with the foosball table. And my grandparents were able to relax along the dock while the rest of us took advantage of the paddle board, fishing pole, and crab cages that were provided. The house was a great spot - only 15-20 minutes away from some beaches - but be aware that the local beaches are relatively small as it was not meant for the public since there were private properties around it. Leslie was great at communicating before and during my trip. She was able to answer my questions within a timely manner and overall was nice. My grandma accidentally broke one of the bathroom decors and Leslie was understanding when I told her what happened. The downside of my trip is that the refrigerator/freezer was not cold even though we did troubleshooting (unplug fridge) per what Leslie recommended - we were able to make do with what we can, but we ended up having to throw away most of our food because it went bad.

Summer vacation

We enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and we enjoyed all the amenities. Kitchen was well equipped. Fishing and crabbing were great! Plenty of games for the kids to enjoy.

Very peaceful.

The house decorations is beautiful. The house has many entertainments games. Different thing to do around, kayaks, pedal boat, fishing, bicycle rides.We enjoyed our stay there. Leslie is very friendly and easy to getting in touch with. I was able to text her with some questions and she replied right away. The house is in a great area. Very peaceful.
