Chalet parfait pour travailler en équipe!

Nous étions 9 adultes, collègues de travail. La salle à manger était assez grande pour nous accueillir avec nos ordinateurs, le réseau Wi-Fi était excellent. Le foyer et le sapin de Noël ont rendus l'ambiance très chaleureuse. La cuisine était bien équipée et l'eau du spa avait été changée,

Beautiful property. Great for a get together!

Beautiful cottage about 15 mins from Lachute. Had a friend get together. The group loved all the different activities available on the property. A couple of notes that might help others... The floors are creaky as others have mentioned. Additionally we were not aware there is no drinking water on site, which is good to know in advance.

Brown bear lodge

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. This was a late Xmas present to my family. ..there was lots of room for the children to play and run around. The lodge was spacious with all the amenities needed. Bedrooms were spacious and very clean. Living room area was able to accommodate all my family at the same time. All needs were met! We will definitely rent from Namastay again. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!!

Disappointed

So, the first issue is that VRBO says the area is Saint Sauveur ... and it is 50 minutes from there. The place has a lot of supplies - which is a bonus, but the floors on all levels creak very loudly and it is impossible to sleep if someone is walking above you. Also, the path to the water is not great. There are no steps and you have to be very careful, and falling is a strong possibility - not great for young or old. Also, the flooring in the family room has 2 big patches of plywood replacing missing hardwood. Finally, the instructions were given by email and that really didn't for us. I would appreciate an information booklet - either digital or hardcopy - to be left on site, so that you know the expectations at the beginning of the trip. This is a very expensive rental, and I didn't think we got value for our money. The potential is there...

Incredible stay!!

Absolutely incredible place to stay. Our host gave excellent communication, area is quiet and inviting, cottage was very clear and was well represented from photos. Would without question stay here again!

Perfect for extended family

Our family gathered from two provinces at this amazing property. Everybody was wowed by the amazing facilities, great layout and beautiful setting. Young and old had special spaces to enjoy and lots of room for the larger together gatherings

Family Reunion

The lodge, lake and property were lovely. The lodge is roomy, well-lit, comfortable and well-equipped with fun games (ping pong, pool table, foosball, poker table, etc.) that made it attractive to a large group of people of different ages and interests. The wifi and audio systems worked well. The bedrooms were appealing, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and well-appointed. The house's three floors offer enough space for people to separate into smaller groups for socializing/activities if they wish, and the outdoor hot tub, deck and grill, and dock with kayaks and pedal boat, help ensure that there's something fun to do for everyone. The house's kitchen is generally well equipped, and we enjoyed making meals during our several days here. (The kitchen had just one cutting board; could use one or two more, for larger groups to use in meal prep.) We loved the small lake. It is lovely and quiet--how wonderful not to have motor boats zooming around! It's just big enough for a short paddle around in the kayaks, and the woods surrounding the house helped to provide a sense of privacy and seclusion. We also enjoyed the house's proximity to Lachute, which is a fun, friendly town for shopping or a night out. And of course, Montreal is not that far, if you feel like a big-city excursion. All in all, our whole family very much enjoyed the house and property and felt happy with this site for our family reunion.

Beau chalet !

Beau chalet, tres grande cuisine et salle à manger (aire commune). Très bien équipé et conviviale ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Je crois qu’il y a plus d’activités l’été par contre restreint pour l’hiver. Les planchers craquent vraiment beaucoup mais bon cela a son charme! :) merci pour tout, un endroit à revenir !

Short Stay in mid-January

We stayed only one night, but had a great time in the cottage. It was a nice area. The wifi wasn’t actually working but we used our cellulars. The overall experience was great.

This property was a perfect post Christmas getaway!

Brown Bear Lodge is just stunning! We were an extended family of 15 and had loads of room for everyone! The Kitchen was extremely well equipped and spacious, with great storage and having an additional fridge in the lower level was awesome for storing beverages! Also, the wine fridge in the kitchen was awesome and made me think I would like one at home! Beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels for indoor and spa use. This property will not disappoint, as everything seemed just as advertised. My only suggestion would be mirrors in the bedrooms, to keep the bathrooms free as possible.

Great place, great time!

Lots of space and privacy. Lots of games and fun things to do for several people. Beautiful place but difficult to keep quiet for other guests in the house. Loud, squeaky wood you hear throughout the place. Minor detail and besides that, perfect spot! Equipped with everything you need.
