The house is very comfortable and roomy. Location to the beach is out the door, turn left and walk 2 min and you're on the sand. Kitchen utensils, plates, pots and pans are catered for well. The outdoor undercover deck is fantastic where you can relax on the couch or sit at the table. The deck was my favourite part of the house and enjoyed by all. The bedrooms are very nice and the beds were super comfortable. All the decore was very easy on the eye and the house overall was very clean. The toilets were separate from the bathrooms which is very convenient for a large family. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers large with good water pressure. The outdoor shower with hot water is fantastic and private enough to strip down and shower thoroughly.There is undercover parking directly under the outdoor deck. Table tennis table was great.Overall the house was terrific and in a quiet , well accessible location.

We had a lovely time at South Durras. Nicky was a wonderful host who made sure we were well settled. The property is excellent - it’s very well equipped, spacious and light and bright. The backyard is perfect for the dog. Standouts were the aircon, provided linen, table tennis table and the dog-friendly beach being just a short walk away. Highly recommended!

Murramarang Coast Walkers

We used Nicky’s house as a base when we did the Coast Walk. The house is in a great location close to beaches etc. easily sleeps 8 people very spacious with lots of nooks and cranny’s to sit and relax. Unfortunately never got to play table tennis which I was looking forward to….. next time

Great Murramarang Base

South Durras is the quintessential 'get away from it all' location. The beach is wild and beautiful, and largely deserted. But it is only 15 minutes into Bateman's Bay for supplies and whatever else you may need. We used our stay at South Durras to do some day walks along the Murramarang Track, and it is simply a gorgeous coastline with many beaches and coves to explore. This property was perfect. It is very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. It also has great living spaces, especially the sunroom and the outside deck. For anyone wanting to spend some time in this beautiful part of the world, this property is a good starting point.

Beautiful coast house

This house is lovely. Lots of different spaces to relax with family, a luxurious outdoor shower and so close to the beach. Our family had a gorgeous stay here with our dog.

Great family holiday house

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The kids were very happy with all of the space to run around and play. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed plus the bbq on the veranda. Communication with Nicky was easy. They responded to any of our queries straight away and gave plenty of great tips about where to go in the area. The homemade fruit icecream from the hydroponic tomato farm was a huge hit with the family. Yum! The beach is literally at the end of the street and the NRMA park was a 5min drive to go for coffee in the morning. They were kind enough to let the kids use the water play area while we sat back and relaxed. Can highly recommend this place for a family getaway or a group of friends. Oh and the outdoor hot shower was AMAZING!! Thanks Nicky :)

Winter in the Sunshine

It certainly is a Gorgeous Beach House, 100% clean with all of the mod cons and a huge backyard and outdoor patio / deck very suitable and spacious for our very spoilt Golden Retrievers. My wife and I stayed upstairs and our friends with their two 13-year-olds downstairs, perfect privacy when needed. The beach is very dog friendly, and the June & July sunshine was divine. Batemans Bay with it's restaurants, Pubs and Clubs etc., is only 20 minutes away, all in all our 3-weeks in South Durras was truly relaxing.

Fabulous beach home

We loved our stay at South Durras. The hone was very well appointed with lots of thoughtful inclusions. Everything was clean and comfortable. Fantastic base to explore the beautiful area.

We are from the Blue Mountains (north west of Sydney) but try to spend any spare time we can muster in South Durras. Why? Because its absolutely stunning here. We were inspired to furnish and style the home with the kind of clean, relaxed & comfortable spaces we hope for when we book a holiday. The result is a lovely beach house vibe and we just love offering this cracking location and home to others. It's relaxed but with a hint of luxury to ensure you properly unwind.

A couple of minutes walk and you are on the prettiest beach with the most beautiful turquoise water. The home is light and open plan with stylish furniture that offers some cosy comfort after a day of play in the sun. Deep linen lounges, ceiling fans and aircon will keep you comfortable. A spacious kitchen flows out to a large covered deck ideal for drinks and BBQ's with friends & family. Enquire with us to ask about good discounts for longer stays and winter getaways.
