Absolutely beautiful property and lovely host, who was very helpful and responsive. Very spacious with high ceilings & lovely decor. Very well-appointed with everything you could need - kitchen is very well equipped, and there are tons of towels, a stocked bathroom essentials drawer, books, DVDs, games and toys. Lovely bed linens too. The suite is a basement suite, so it is down a steep flight of stairs, which we didn't realise. It wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for some. We found it very hot in early June, and there's no way to cool the place. The living room 'window' is not actually a window, it's a lightbox. We couldn't get the bedroom window to open, and the kitchen window requires a stepladder and balancing on the edge of the sink. I thought I was going to pull the cupboard door off its hinges getting back down. It wasn't possible to leave the main door open because it backs onto the garage, and there was a strong smell of engine fumes. Some fans/portable a/c, and better airflow would help. The sofa-bed has a lovely comfy memory foam topper, but unfortunately doesn't unfold completely flat, so your feet are pointing up at a 15º angle. Moving the huge living room rug out of the way helped a little, but the gigantic coffee table is heavy and hard to move. Would highly recommend, but with a couple of caveats. (Do not recommend the 'Irish' Pub from the basket of recommendations. It's not Irish at all, apart from a couple of shamrocks stuck to the wall).
