Great value and amazing host

The property has 10/10 views. The host is the most amazing host I’ve ever dealt with. You won’t regret staying here. The road is a little bumpy getting in and out of the property but it’s a real gem.

Amazing Views and Wildlife Everywhere

We really enjoyed sitting on the patios watching all the wildlife in the jungle below. We saw monkeys, deer, iguanas, 20+ species of birds and several other animals sitting on the deck. The views of the bay are indeed spectacular. We saw a couple humpback whales one day and great sunsets. The condo itself is well maintained and very clean. There are two pools on the property, the upper pool has a shallow area for small children to play in comfortably.

Best Views

Great location! Short drive to many beaches. The views from the condo were amazing! Our kids loved both pools. Condo has everything one would need for their stay. Clean and updated. We are already planning our next trip.

Our family of five went to Costa Rica for a week and had a great time, staying in this beautiful apartment made everything even better! Maria - the host - was very responsive to anything we needed! The view was spectacular, the kids had a great time in the pools. It is up on the top of a hill - hence the amazing views - and it is a bumpy dirt road so make sure you have 4 wheel drive! Highly recommend it!

Great stay!

We enjoyed location, views, pools, cleanliness and safety the property offered. Short drive to local restaurants and beaches. It was the last leg of our CR road trip so it was especially nice to have access to a washer and dryer. Be prepared this house is not stocked with anything. We had to buy coffee filters which is not a problem at all. Just something to be aware of. Would recommend this property!

Great location for families

We had a wonderful stay at this Flamingo Towers property. It was relatively centrally located in Playa Flamingo and has amazing sunset views. Playa Flamingo was only a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the property and there are great restaurants and a nice market within a 5 minute drive. We had our 3yr and 6yr old daughters with us, and the upper pool is perfectly set up for young swimmers... A general statement when coming to this area of Costa Rica - a 4WD is a must and use the longer route from the Liberia airport to avoid hwy 911; Google maps says taking hwy 155 adds 12mins, but worth it to avoid the dicey roads along the "Monkey Trail"... unless you're into that kind of adventure.

Amazing views

we stayed in Playa Flamingo for 3 weeks and had a wonderful stay, the views are second to none from each floor. the pools were warm and had lots of space for people The condo had everything as mentioned, however could have used some pictures and things to make it more Costa Rican and give it a homey feeling. The area had lots of monkeys and Croti's wandering around during the morning. There is a very nice beach only 5 minutes away which we spent plenty of time at, beach chairs were provided but need replacing. The ocean water was warm and not many rocks which made it so inviting. The road into the Condo was an adventure and not as bad as I had been lead to believe. I would highly recommend the Area and this unit to others who want the best view in the area.

Beautiful Condo!

This condo is absolutely stunning with a perfect view of the bay. The space is so large and perfect for a family. The multiple balconies make for beautiful jungle, water and sunset viewing. The kitchen is well stocked with all accessories you may need. The appliances were all wonderful and the inclusion of a washer and dryer was wonderful. The staff on the property was helpful. Communication with the host was very easy and quick. Maria was helpful in any area needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to beautiful Flamingo Bay.

Off the beaten path …

The best thing about this place is the view! If you are looking for some solitude and a great view then this is definitely what you are looking for. Unfortunately we came after a decent rain and the road to the property was a bit of a nightmare every time we ventured out. If you are looking for wildlife, it’s not here, but you can book excursions for that. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful stay!

After having to reschedule earlier in the year (due to COVID) we were so happy to finally make it to Costa Rica. After hopping off the red eye flight, then experiencing the potholes along the drive, we pulled off onto the bumpy gravel road up to the place and I started to feel concern about the location I booked. It seemed secluded and I thought travelling that road multiple times would not be desirable. However Maria was great about setting us up to arrive early and be greeted at the place by the cleaner. The place is spacious and beautiful, and our kids immediately hit the pool and searched out the iguanas on the property. We stayed 7 nights and by the end of the week the road was not a concern. Every day we planned an activity away from the place (everything was within a 5-25 minute drive), then ended the day with pool time and sunsets on the balcony. A lot of our friends said Tamarindo was the place to book but we much preferred Playa Flamingo. We visited about 5-6 beaches while we were there and our favorite by far was Flamingo beach which is right down the hill from this VRBO. It has the best soft white sand and less people selling stuff. Our kids loved using the boogie boards that were included with the rental. Although the balcony is amazing to watch the sunsets, you MUST go watch the sunset while on Flamingo beach at least once during your stay! A really cool moment was when we saw 20+ monkeys in the trees right behind the property! Maria was very responsive to any issues we had. The king size bed was pretty uncomfortable and when we let her know that she delivered a brand new mattress topper within a day. That made all the difference. The property had times without water which didn’t impact us too much due to the plans we had, however if we had been around more often it possibly could have. One time was a 1/2 day outage; the other times may have just been when they were filling the pool. The air conditioning was wonderful. Many different units that could be set to different temperatures and ran quietly. The only thing Maria wasn’t able to accommodate was when I checked before the trip about reducing the stay by one night at the end. I was hoping this could be considered through a VRBO “change” since this was still a system option at that point but I can’t fault her for us deciding to change our plans to see more of Costa Rica. Overall we had an amazing trip and would stay in this area again.

Amazing view with beautifully renovated property! Maria was excellent in dealing with trip planning , check in and check out. Location is very central to many excellent beaches and restaurants. We appreciated the a/c that worked well , and the washer and dryer as well as access to beach chairs and body boards. More than enough room for our family and everything we needed in the condo was available. We took advantage of use of the two pools ( with unbelievable views) Coffee in the morning and a drink at night watching the sunset will be a lasting memory. The iguanas and monkey viewing was a bonus. Thank you so much for a great family vacation.

Maria was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive. She also checked in with us to ensure that we had everything we needed as well as gave us recommendations for excursions and restaurants. The condo was recently remodeled and very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets.

Fantastic stay in Playa Flamingo

The unit is in the smaller of the two buildings with unobstructed views of the bay to the south. Recently remodeled, beautiful inside and out. Two balconies as well as two pools just steps away. Saw tons of birds, coatimundis and an iguana. Short drives to two beaches, the one in front of The Palms is stunning. Unit includes beach chairs and towels. Hit Coco Loco for meals. Restaurants/cafes and markets a short drive away. Perfect location for a relaxing get away!
